Dunham's Sports — Local services in Collier Township

Shopped in the firearms department Friday 2022 Rather knowledgeable & friendly staff. Purchased a handgun there got a very reasonable price on it. Got home started reading the manual, it was after all a Friday late afternoon so I had a really long day at work decided to finish reading the manual Saturday morning.

Finished reading the manual for my new handgun. Which I recommend everybody do, before you use any firearm.

So I want to learn my new firearm inside and out. I keep the manual handy in front of me at my workstation and I start to field strip my new handgun. I got to the part where you remove the Crimson Trace laser. Unfortunately after following the instructions reading them over and over again I could not free the laser from inside the frame. They're also was another issue with the laser shutting off with a sudden movement.

I was very disappointed. It is very unfortunate to purchase something new and it does not work correctly. Most people would blame covid.

I contacted Dunham's to see what could be done. Unfortunately some of the staff was not there and the ones that were, did not have enough knowledge with the lasers in cased in the frame.

I called the manufacturer Monday morning and explain the situation. They do believe that there is a possible defect.

(This is the type of luck I do have.)(If it was not for bad luck, I would not have any luck at all.)

To sum this up I had to send my new firearm back to the manufacturer so that they could rectify the situation.

I had shopped at this Dunham’s location twice in the past two weeks. My first experience was not the best, they were short staffed, but doing the best they could with the number of customers and limited employees. As I waited in the store for help I wrote a bad review in the moment. After reading my review, after the experience I had. I decided that it was unfair and they deserved a second chance. I went last night to buy some sports equipment for my children’s activities, they were very personable, helpful, professional and on task. I came in here Tuesday March 19 2019 to purchase my first gun ever. I thought it was gonna be a great experience but it was far from great. First all when I walked in no one greeted me until I was already waiting and looking 5 mins into walking thru the whole store, secondly they just treated me like a criminal asking if I had felonies several times I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t walk in to purchase a fire arm being a felon. The service was in professional and they have some kid who looks like he is in high school still selling the firearms.
