Went in twice to purchase some shoes from the men’s shoe department both times have had a bad experience with the shoe department. I had a bad experience the first time about 2 months earlier and wasn’t able to get anyone to assist me because they where to busy looking at their phones to help me. The second time was recently that I had gone it to purchase shoes I figured I would try to give them another chance a few months later with different employees working. I asked one of the employees for some shoes I wanted to try on and he went to the back to get them. He brought the shoes to me and I tried them on and asked for a different size because they didn’t fit right. It seemed like he was annoyed with something (not sure if it was me) he went and got the size I needed and gave them to me. He walked away to another department and started talking to another employee and never returned to finish helping me out. So I left the shoes he gave me on the bench where I was trying them on and after him not returning to help me out I just left the store. I could of waited for another employee to help me out but they went to the back and didn’t come back out for a while so I just left. Probably won’t return to this store for shoes. This review isn’t for the entire store just for the men’s shoe department. I am sure there are plenty of great employees that work at this store but it’s obvious that the men’s shoe department...
Read moreBy reading the other reviews mine is no different. If I could give no stars that would be perfect. I called ahead for a bike that I was trying to purchase #1 as a paying customer I asked the guy in the bicycle department to hold it and he said no you just have to come buy it with a condescending attitude. So I get there and say I just called about the bike and we walk over to it and #2 the guy just looked at me as if I was suppose to take the bike off the rack myself. Then he tells me oh well you're supposed to do a 21 point check. I ask if I have to do that or does he and he said oh I do and walks away. #3 upon going to check out this empolyee didn't even offer to help me take my bike downstairs he just said there was an elevator or the escalator. #4 guy at the cashier didn't even know what the warranties included and was completely clueless. #5 they didn't even offer to help me fit this bike in my car. All you ladies out there thinking about buying a bike from Dicks Sporting Goods take your husband or you won't be treated fairly. Discrimination at...
Read moreBunch of young kids working there without a clue. Pulled up to curbside pickup and waited. All they ask for is make and color of car. I saw girl come out with box of brooks shoes (1 min after I pulled up). Only me and one other car in the 3 pickup spaces. She walks to other car and then talks briefly then heads back inside (with box of shoes still) without even a glance at me. Then she comes back out and does same thing again. First, the other car pulled up after me. Secondly, why would you put someone in charge of handing out curbside if they can’t even distinguish what make and color a car is? One black Ford mini van vs grey Honda Accord. Process is broken. Why not just ask for make and model OR choose what spot your parked in 1, 2 or 3 so there is no confusion. Finally, why wouldn’t you check with only other car there to see if product is there’s? This type of incompetence is unacceptable. All I can think of is the Alabama meme hide your kids...you are really...
