Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Sadly, I can't review the pizza here, due to the very unhelpful staff-----I called in a carry out special order on 3/29/17. The person taking my order was polite, however, when I asked to pay for the order over the phone so I could have my fiance pick it up (I'm on crutches) I was told I couldn't pay over the phone, because the had to 'verify' the card. I don't see how this is any different from ordering delivery, as many other places allow me to pay over the phone with my debit card. When I asked if an exception could be made, I was told that the manager replied 'under no circumstance.' Additionally, I was not offered any other alternatives as to how I might be better able to get my order without leaving the house----I'd be more than willing to pay a little more for delivery or order online, neither of which was suggested to me. This place is losing business before customers even get a chance to try the food, which is pretty pathetic and REALLY BAD BUSINESS. I hope the owner of this franchise realizes what is happening with their investment at the ground level before it's too late. I highly suggest going somewhere else, anywhere else. I promptly hung up with the pizza hut employee and called dominos, because they accept my card over the phone and seem to actually want business----must explain why their rating is so much higher. Normally this location is really good...hot and fresh pizza; but there were 2 new people I did not recognize. The gentleman who helped us was very nice and pleasant; however...there was a female (not trying to be mean at all - but she is heavy set with pink hair) who came up and didn't help us but had the nerve to ask if we were gonna be leaving a tip. I was really put off by that and had to ask her to repeat herself and she asked again if we were gonna be leaving a tip. I was surprised that she would even ask something like that. I mentioned...ummm no...if I wanted to leave a tip, I world have done that when I paid for my order. We ended up coming home and moved on from it (irritated, but moved on)...an hour or so later we got sick from our food and have had stomach issues from our food eversince. Horrible. Just wanted to point out how upset we are about our most recent service...the rep asking us for a tip and the quality of the food was horrible. So horrible that we will now have to start going to another location or we may not even continue giving our business to this company. We are new to the area and we called to find out if the store was our store to delivery. I was told to call a store over 6 miles away when they are less than 3. The other store said they weren’t our store and that the other store was in fact our store. So I called back to see what we could do. The manager Brittany was rude and nasty. I hung up on her and told my son if he wanted the pizza he needed to order it and go pick it up. He went in to pick up the pizza and the manager started questioning him if I was his mother and she needed to know. This is my child she is berating to find out who I am. I called back to the store and she was again rude when I asked her what she needed. I am waiting for the district manager to call now if they actually do is another thing. I have the conversations recorded with her also. On top of all that the pizzas were over cooked and burnt on the bottom so there is money out the window. Stay far away...
