Their new location is great and the room had some unique mechanics in it. I went with a group of five others and we had a blast.

The puzzles were challenging and there were a lot of them. Everything was very linear (one puzzle at a time), which I like but others thought it made things too easy.

Also, all the locks except for a couple required four numbers. It would have been nice to have some locks with letters or directional locks here and there.

We escaped the hard room in just over 38 minutes, but we're a more seasoned group. The room we did had some great surprises and the theme was fun to explore.

What I like most about their new location is how accessible it is now. Their location in Manitou Springs was hard to find parking for and now they have parking galore.

Also, the new building sets the mood really well. Unlike many other escape rooms in town that are in strip malls or old office buildings, the old school building has an eerie, haunted feel to it (with an old playground and squeaky swing set to boot).

Across the street is a small park, so if you're going for date night you should pack a picnic or grab some food to go and enjoy the park before you play.

Overall, I'd highly recommend Enter the Room. Hands down, one of the top three escape rooms in town. It's a little more expensive than most, but you get what you pay for. You'll be shocked by how much fun you have here... If you...

I'm surprised by the lower number of reviews and wish more people would check this out. You have to reserve and can't just show up, but it's well with the extra effort to plan ahead.

We are an experienced escape room family with about 100 rooms who had a blast in 999 Strange Place. The eerie nature of the old school building greatly added to the ambience and charm from the moment we pulled up to the wrought iron gate. The room's house setting (with multiple rooms) constructed inside a basement classroom was big enough for our family of 5 but would be tight if you had more than 6 or 7.

The setting, decor, and puzzles were all planned well, and we loved the background music that definitely increased the creep factor (although not a scare factor, so still great for younger kids). The puzzles were mostly one- or two-step solutions and relied heavily on padlocks, but they were definitely imaginative and never felt simple.

It didn't bother us for the game, but two recommendations for the owner would be to have a timer available in the room and to use radios or some other hint system that doesn't take players out of...

The staff is pretty amazing and friendly. The room 999 Strange Place was enjoyable. My only issue is everything in the room is a clue or part of the game, which makes finding the clues easy. We did have an issue that pulling ropes in order had to be done in a very precise fluid manner or nothing happened we spent way too much time with this clue that didnt seem to work well. This place would benefit from having objects/furniture in the room that was just decor instead of everything being a clue. The room is huge and a lot of the wall space in bland white! And it was fun! It was also VERY VERY cold. If its cold outside it will be cold inside this room. We plan to try the other room but the reviews for the other room sound like everything in the room is a clue just like this room. My only advice is, you know its okay to have different levels of challenge for your guests, not everything has to be built for the novice player.
