Wow, such a cool place. Old school customer service, where the owners meet you at the door and shake your hand like they've known you forever. Just stopped by after finding them on Google maps. They have a fantastic collection of vintage and new jewelry. I'll admit I was a bit apprehensive on entering and being disappointed by either the selection or customer service. I'm happy to say I couldn't have been further off track. Barry met us at the door with a smile and warm welcome. Ted and Matt (?) Were happy to say hello and also welcome my wife and I to their shop. The selection is really amazing, vintage jewelry some dating back to the 19th century. Not into "old" jewelry they have new creations from themselves or can easily make your own design or dream come true. The only problem is I didn't have enough money to clean them out. So many great pieces. My wife found a fantastic ring she loves very much for her 50th birthday. The prices are super reasonable. We saw items from $39 to $13k. I'm going back soon to have an heirloom cleaned, and resized for me. Local owners= local...
Read moreI could not be more pleased with the level of professionalism and commitment to excellence Ted and Matt brought the table when custom designing my wife's wedding band. From the very beginning, they worked diligently to meet a short deadline I had given them in order to overlap with our anniversary. Matt stayed in constant communication with me, working behind the scenes to make sure my wife was completely surprised. Because my wife was not involved in the design process, we ended up having to make some alterations afterwards (my fault entirely), which they gladly were able to do, resulting in the ring being perfect. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were stunning and absolutely brought my wife to tears. The entire process felt very personal, I felt listened to, and I knew at the end of the day we would be thrilled with the results. If you are looking for a truly dedicated jeweler, that takes their craft and your needs seriously, Barry Belenke at Ted Blum Jewelers is...
Read moreI am just over-the-moon about the work that I had done on a vintage onyx ring!
I recently inherited my great grandmother's ring (which I looooooooove!), and unfortunately one of the prongs had broken/it just needed servicing in general.
I initially brought it to Shane Company **Simply because this is where my wedding/engagement band are from... but they "wouldn't touch it" because they have a policy of "not fixing anything that they can't replace". Which was then echoed by many other jewelers...
So with that being said... I was THRILLED to find a shop that not only would agree to work on my ring— but floored me with customer service that was kind, knowledgeable, skilled, artistic, & communicative.
I will 1,000,000% be coming back for any future jewelry needs!
*update: just got a ring resized after purchasing it at an antique shop… And love love love love the high-quality work that they did! I plan to return...
