Ya'll need to work on your policy. If I come through on Taco Tuesday and get 20 tacos for $12.60, I can get 40 packets of hot sauce, but when I spend $18 on 2 full meal sized burritos I get a maximum of 4 hot sauces to go with those? Two sauces per item? I've been going to del taco, Taco Bell and other places my entire life and I've never put less than three hot sauces on a taco. I'm 47 years old. What if I had ordered more than two hot sauces for each burrito on the app? I forgot to order sauce in the app, so when I asked she told me she had already put the sauce in the bag. I asked what flavor and how many and I couldn't even get an answer. I guess I should have reached into the bag and given back the mild sauces I didn't want so that I could have at least had some kind of an enjoyable dinner. Worst logic yet. This is the first time I've gone to this particular location in town, but I go to space center and the other academy store all the time and I've never had a problem. 3 sauces each for 63-cent tacos every Tuesday I've ever gone. Nobody's ever even flinched an eyebrow when I asked. Basically it exposes to me that you guys are screwing up in there and things aren't adding up which means you're probably being cheap with everything else in there too. I'm up here getting the bare minimum when there's two totally generous locations in the same city. Also, your signs are ugly as hell on the drive-thru side. I dinged you for atmosphere because that's just embarrassing. That's a corporate problem and as a sign painting professional myself that's just sloppy and wack. I understand that you guys probably don't drive through the drive-thru since you work in that place so I did point it out and if I was managing that place I would tell corporate to do something. Even if you just take the trashy signs down off the wall. When I'm on the north end of town I'll go somewhere besides del Taco after this. I didn't even keep any hot sauce for myself. I was picking up dinner for a friend of mine who works at Safeway and I just let him keep them all. I literally just bought a bottle of hot sauce to go with my dinner tonight. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard and I'm mad at the management, not the people working there tonight. Bad decision on Management's end. Forget about your del taco. I'll be around the corner at Chipotle if I'm on this end of the city. They have hot sauce and bottles and they aren't beeotches about it. I'm actually going to go right now and leave good reviews for both of the other two locations because it never...
Read moreFirst off they had nothing we wanted so we changed our order to accommodate their lack of items. Food was absolutely disgusting and old. Waited 15 minutes in the drive thru to be given cold and reheated food. Took the order back inside and asked for a refund as it was inedible. Both quesadillas weren’t cut and had filling only in the direct center. All the meat in everything was chewy and cold. The soft tacos looked like a toddler was making them. Not a single item was even remotely appealing. Even the sodas were nasty because there was no flavoring basically dark soda water. The lady working was extremely rude and unprofessional.she Had terrible hygiene and has no business working in a restaurant. I definitely didn’t want to eat the food after seeing who prepared it looked like they had just rolled out of bed and was wearing dirty clothes. I asked to speak with management politely and was immediately met with a terrible snarky attitude. She claimed that there was no manager and that she didn’t know how to issue a refund. Claimed they were overwhelmed with how busy it was….there was two customers in the drive thru and everyone inside had already eaten and were just sitting there talking. They were far from busy and had no excuse for the terrible food, the disgusting state of the restaurant, and the terrible attitude. Will be contacting management and...
Read moreCustomer service wasn't that great when we were there today... We went through the drive-thru wait about 5 maybe 10 minutes to realize that we were not getting service at the microphone... so we drove to the window, saw somebody, knocked, still did not get their attention. We continued to wait and eventually looped around the building tried ordering again at the microphone. she eventually responded and said that she had her headset turned off, except considering the fact that it was 5 p.m. I find that odd and unattentive. once we got to the window for our food it took about 5 to 10 minutes as well and she asked if we wanted sauces we said no but we would like extra lime as we drove off we realize we did not get extra lime and I don't know for sure if I will be coming back because of this.
She wasn't rude but she wasn't super nice or apologetic either, I think she was just lacking attentiveness. When you're at work you should be working is how I see it, and if all you have to do is have a headset on your head that's turned on I don't feel like that's a big task, having worked in fast food customer service before. The food was great so I have no complaints there, but the customer service might be hit or...
