Brioso Roastery & Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Columbus

The good: the iced honey vanilla latte is good. I haven’t had it since their downtown location and I was happy to see a location near my new job.

The N. High location staff member that I spoke with was very helpful when I ordered online. I specified that I wanted it to go to Long St, but when the order was completed, it said pick up on N. High. I called them and he was able to send it to the correct location.

The bad: when I picked up my drink at Long St, I felt immediately unwelcomed as I walked in. It was my first time in, so I looked around for where I should pick up, and the barista asked if she could help me, but it was like I was inconveniencing her. I told her what I was there for an online order. Instead of asking my name or order, she said “oh you’re the one who ordered it at the other place.” While they continued to make my drink, both baristas were deep in conversation with another customer, which was fine, but the way it was like I didn’t even exist to them made me feel like they did not want my business. It left me with such a bad taste in my mouth. So, while I’m happy to have found one of my favorite coffee drinks again, I sadly won’t be back at the most convenient...

I was disappointed after hearing a lot of good things about this place. So I went, when placing the order it's hard to see for the visually impaired from the counter. The have a very very small menu, which can usually mean good things but in this case it kinda meant chose something or SOL.

The cold brew coffee is horrific, I couldn't see on the menu if there were add in options like creamer or syrup etc. As is, it's disgusting. With creamer from home and doctoring it up, it's still disgusting.

Some people physically cannot drink hot/warm beverages due to health conditions, please consider adding more iced options.

Barista was really nice though and the establishment itself was nice...

I don’t write public reviews often, however, I felt compelled to do so out of sheer respect. I have been ordering beans from Brioso for around 4 years and they have just been so consistently great the entire time. I always have a bag of Brioso beans in my home. I don’t to visit their locations as much as I’d like to, but when I have, I have always had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed what I’ve ordered. Their prices are consistent with local roasters of their caliber and I feel that they have the best value per cup around, at least for my money. They are also quick to ship and locally deliver.
