Disney Store Outlet — Local services in Commerce

I'm sad to be writing this review because as a former cast member, I understand how important making guest experiences from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave is. It was understandable that the wait to get into the store was an hour with limitations due to COVID. We waited an hour in the sun for our turn to enter the store. We were in the store browsing for 20 minutes before we went to the register. AS WE WERE PAYING, the manager Natalie asked if those of us not making purchases could leave so others could come in. The only people not paying WERE CHILDREN. She insisted because people were waiting. We waited for an hour as well and to be rushed is my very fair as there were families in the store that entered before us still browsing as well. To be asked to leave when we were already paying is just rude. I would NEVER ask a guest to leave so other guests could come in. You're ruining that guest's experience. If you wanted guests in the store for a limited time, that should be expressed at the door not as they are paying. My family and I spend hundreds if dollars a month at Disney stores, outlets and parks. We won't be spending another dime at this outlet store and suggest others take the hour drive to Carlsbad for better guest service than shop...

I went there to look for an adult shirt. They have a nice selection of shirts for both men and women. The store is a big store compared to the store in Culver City. The sales associates are very friendly and helpful. We did not have to ask for help when we were looking for our sizes. The size I was looking for was not displayed so the associate went to the stockroom to find my size. She was excited when she returned with my size... she also brought more of the size for others to purchase. After that I walked over to the backpacks which were nicely displayed. Another associate (in this section) showed me the matching lunch bag. She told me that this section was buy one get one half off. There were many tempting accessories to go with the backpack. I love how there were enough people on the floor to help in different sections in the store. They were not hounding customers. They let the customers know that they were there to help and let us know about sales, matching items, etc. The cashiers were...

I assumed that since this was an "outlet " it would have lower prices/good deals. Nope! It's all the stuff that doesn't sell at regular Disney stores / Disney Parks sold at the same price. In fact, I was going to buy a Lotso plush for $22+tax, good thing I didn't as It's on Disney Parks website (shopdisney.com) for $14 + an additional 25% off.... so, about $8+ $5 shipping). Also, the security guard they had in there was harassing my toddler over her mask falling below her nose.she was frightened and he followed us and told her directly, instead of telling me, her parent.

This store definitely lacks the Disney magic feeling most Disney stores have.

There was one super friendly staff member. I didn't get his name but he was an older, thin gentleman with glasses. He was very kind and informative 👍
