I purchased a refrigerator from the Glenn Mills, PA store. The refrigerator and 5 year warranty plan cost around $3100 Delivery date was set up and time window was given. When the delivery truck did not show up within the allotted time my wife called them and they said they had rerouted the delivery and now the next delivery date was a week later. We had gone and bought ice and put all the stuff from the refrigerator we had in coolers and this would all go to waste. I had called the store in Glenn Mills, PA and spoken to Joe D there in the appliance department who had said he would Look into why the delivery was rerouted and he never called me back. I then called the store later and spoke to Gary who was the store manger and explained all to him. All he said was he would look into it and talk later. Well we rescheduled the delivery and the refrigerator when came a week later was damaged and was returned. We got told by the delivery company they will need to contact LG and get another delivery time which was another week later. Well.. the next delivery which came a week later was again damaged in the front door and the delivery company tried to offer me a compensation of $150.00 to take the damaged product which I refused. Then I asked the delivery company again for another date and they said we had to call LG and figure it out. When we called LG they said the order was cancelled by Home Depot and I was refunded the money. But the whole refund was not given.
I then went to the store and spoke to Joe D and the manger on duty today Melissa. They refunded me the rest of the $315 and were all apologetic about this.
I told them and I’m telling customer service now “this is the worst experience I have EVER HAD with any store over the past 20 years”
It seems the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. I have spent my time and money arranging schedules to get deliveries and all I get is damaged refrigerators and an just plain simple pathetic apologies.
I will never buy another appliance from Home Depot and will let all my friends and colleagues and patients know how pathetic Home Depot is with customer service and appliances.
I did write to customer service with Home Depot and all I got was an apology. The inconvenience and time spent was not...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible. If I could give less than zero I would. I have tried to get my kitchen redone for the past 7 months. It is a tiny kitchen in a row house and you’d think it was the biggest issue in the world. Time after time I’ve been screwed over by HD customer service and not taken seriously. We were meant to have our floors installed today and unable to as the installers claimed the floors were uneven and laminate couldn’t be installed. You know who should’ve told us that???? Home Depot when they were MEASURING AND INSPECTING the floors and the kitchen area???! But no, now after removing our flooring ourselves (because apparently HD doesn’t have their people take up our floors) we were told that they can’t do it. When attempting to contact customer service I’m put on hold for time and time again trying to reach someone through the sea of incapable representatives would have no answers again and again. Seeing as it’s a big company you’d expect them to know how to do their job. I’m always met with rude service as well, like it’s my fault they messed up. At this point I regret ever even touching HD with a 10 foot pole...
Read moreI was charged additional fees for tool rental for scaffolding for not returning parts that were not given at time of rental. I received a hodgepodge of random parts that could not be used. I had to use my personal pins to secure the scaffolding to make it safe enough to use. Then when I returned the rental, I was charged for missing parts. I explained that I brought back everything that I was given and they could review all the extra parts that do not go with the scaffolding that were also returned. Therefore, this should prove that there was no inspection or manifest for items that were missing. I offered to return home to ensure I did not leave any pieces in my home. Then when I confirmed, I did not get an answer when I called the store, corporate customer service told me they cannot help, and I am left with paying $35 for wheels that I never received. Outside of the frustration of not having the parts needed for the work I was doing on my house, it is beyond belief that I would then be charged for items that are not listed on the rental agreement, not inventoried, and not confirmed when I picked up the rental. No more home...
