READ IT BEFORE BRINGING YOUR BABY TO GET EAR PIERCED !!

TELL THEM TO MARK BEFORE DOING EAR PIERCED . Today I brought my 3 and half month old baby here to have her ear’s pierced . The lady about to start on her without even marking it, and i ask her: “I thought we have to mark first”, and she told me “”NOT FOR THE BABY, IT’S JUST WAIST THE TIME ( It was another family in front of us has a 1 year old baby, it was done by someone else but that person still used a pen to mark it before she start on that little girl, even the parents ask her to wipe it over and over again 3-4 times until they’re agreed). Maybe my lady is lazy, so she doesn’t want to do it. When she finished the first ear and it looked pretty good, my baby started crying. She started on the second ear but it seemed too high, she blamed on my baby for pushing her shoulder up causing her to dislocate her arm but she said it’s common. I was believed it until i watched that video again tonight, and my baby didn’t do it (this video is just for memory), that mean she lied. She looked at me and asked if that's okay or do you want to take it off, but she looked at me like she wanted me to say it's okay, but I decided to take it off. Before that, when doing paperwork, she said she had pierced the ears of many babies, she did it every day. I thought she would have a lot of experience and knew that after an ear was done, the baby would start crying. move because of pain. so why didn't she make her mark before doing that. We, as parents, don't want our children to get hurt but I will have to take my baby back on Tuesday to get her other ear pierced even though I know it will hurt her. We paid $142.66 for this job.

I would rather waste the time than let my child hurt 1 more time.

One of my best friends and I went into Claire's to get somepiercings. Not only was the store extremely clean but waswell stocked with so many different choices of all differentkinds of merchandise it was so hard to choose from.Thesetup and organizational placement of everything made itextremely pleasurable to shop! The staff werephenomenal! Desirae greeted us upon entering the storeand Val checked us out. Both of which were extremelyfriendly.Desirae was absolutely fantastic! She did both ofour piercings and did a fantastic job! She was extremelyknowledgeable and helped both of us with choosing thebest type of earring and placement. She was superprofessional as well and an absolute delight! The earpiercing station was very clean and she made sure topractice the proper sanitization procedures! She was quickand her precision was on point! We both highlyrecommend visiting this store and getting your earspierced by Desirae as you won't be disappointed! Please avoid ear piercing here, especially for children. I was at the store and a 3 year old was being pinned down by her dad and being forced to get her ears pierced as she screamed “Ouch, it hurts”. It was heartbreaking and arguably abusive. I had to leave because the screams were so heart wrenching — as a mom, I know that it is impossible (unless using incredible force) to restrain the child well enough to even effectively pierce her ears, and if that is done, expecting a 3-year old to not pick and touch her ears is basically impossible, thus leading to an infection. This store should NOT be piercing ears for this age — pediatricians recommend 4 months or after a child can decide on their own. STOP piercing for all children in between… better yet got to an actual piercing place, not the random person...
