Strong in missions. Mission trips include Honduras, reaching the homeless in Asheville, building ramps in Western North Carolina, Hurricane cleanup in Eastern North Carolina, and monthly projects in Concord. Epworth is involved with many local outreach organizations including The Salvation Army shelter, the CVAN women's shelter, Crisis Pregnancy Center, and provides snacks for family members at the surgery center of the nearby hospital.

Epworth also offers a licensed counselor, and has several faith based community nurses in association with Atrium Health Care.

Casual and intimate worship at 9 am Traditional worship at 11 am. Sunday School for all ages at 10.

Vibrant Children's and youth programs. The Flock preschool offers. Outstanding opportunities to youngsters during the week. Boy Scouts, AA, and Al Anon also meet here...
