Nostalgia-ish! I hate to bring them up, but I must, not only to elongate contrast but ultimately word of advice. That nostalgic feeling you used to feel when walking into a Saint Vincent De Paul or a Goodwill has been lost. The only place that I have been able to achieve that nostalgic feeling that represents both my past and my present and sometimes even my future all cloaked with excellent customer service backed with a tangoim-isk yet friendly and refreshing style of haggling that often leads to the benefit of their patron! My Habitat for Humanity store demonstrates what it's mission with its profits, Personally, I've seen homes built which is woos me in those miments I over indulged and may experience a little buyers remorse. (Haha lol) Trust me when I say, it's just an all-around enjoyable experience. There is a lot of good things to come out of there ranging from light fixtures to that "old" cable to that "old" stereo or even a needle for your "old"record player! Bebit desperados, apron shop induced treasure hunt, or, spending time on a unwind, it's a wonderful place and if the local Monument store in Concord does not have what you need maybe Santa Rosa or Oakland will. Over all five stars six! 10 Stars 11! Finding what you need puts me in heaven! thank you habitat you guys are awesome as for the Goodwill stop saying someone switched the price tag when you bring your purchase to the cashier and up in the price and Saint Vincent De Paul what happened to all your donors that gave something that was worth selling, those guys better step it up and take note. Habitat Store,...
Read moreIf you’re looking to get scammed for useless things and bad customer service, this is the place for you! My girl’s bathroom faucet needed to be replaced so I told her to go buy one and I’ll install it for her so she went to ReStore to buy one. She found one there and asked them if it works which they said yes, she also bought a lamp that’s supposed to hook to the ceiling and they told her it would come with everything it needs. She then waited for them to pack it for her & they gave it to her in a box & she left without really looking inside. When she got home, she showed me what they gave her. It came to my attention that the faucet was actually a display faucet that they have to showcase at places like Home Depot….it was not functional at all and the lamp was actually just the lamp shade…the hooks, chain, lightbulb and even the cable to plug into the outlet was NOT included. When I went over the next day to tell them what happened and to try to get a refund the lady looked at me with a smug look and said all sales are final and that they don’t do refunds because everything is donated. It was such a waste of money and I do not recommend shopping from here. If you need anything that they might have there, I suggest going to the Home Depot across the street. They have almost everything you’ll need that’s in ReStore and you can actually get a refund there if it’s not to...
Read moreWe came in understanding the store just moved to this new location so things were still being worked out. I looked at a plate which had a price on it and brought it to the front to purchase. When i got there they tolf me it wasnt suppose to be for sale. I argued that it didnt make sense when the lady told me earlier the decor wasnt for sale unless it had a tag on it. They ignored what was stated and decided to take my item. Then when he came back he decided it was his break time and I was left to wait for someone else to be handled. Then when I finally got help to purchase my other item i was getting rung up and waiting for prompts to put in the number. Usually you ask in the beginning but the store is new so i thought things were different. After I paid it prompted to use a discount which I was going to use but I was then stopped. She said I didnt put my number and she stated "Oh well" to me after I told her she didnt ask. This place seems very unprofessional and rude. Staff makes a huge difference in tge experience of the place no matter how...
