Viking Haus is one of the most unique and lovely stores I have ever been to! Just WOW! They have goods from around the world- jewelry, toys, sweets, foods, clothing… you name it. I could have spent hours inside just taking it all in. I absolutely loved every single item in the store. I was laughing because my mom just went to Ireland and got me a print from a local Irish artist- and Viking Haus had prints in shop from the same artist. How cool was that! The woman who works there was super happy, helpful and loves this store! She was such a joy. I landed on buying items to stock my kids Easter baskets. I will be back for the adorable charm bracelets they carry when I can bring my daughter with me. It will be something special for us to do together. I really loved this store! Me being Norwegian this store is great, I can get a lot of homey things here, like Brunost, ekte Geitost, Solo and Swedish Kaviar. Gløgg and many other things - Norwegian sweaters also. I have been on the Nøkkelost list for a year now, it is not frequent. Those who say it is expensive here have apparently not been to the origin countries, some of the items cost the same here, which is amazing with the freight cost. For comparison, consider Scandinavian prices, and especially Norway, in the NFL arena category - 2-3 times more than normal. The main reason for only 4 stars is that recently they appear to be phasing out Scandinavian chocolates, one of the main reasons I come by often.
