East Coast Floor Store — Local services in Conewago Township

We had a wonderful experience with East Coast Flooring from start to finish! It was a fairly large job, 1200 sq feet all in one fell swoop. Our experience started with Rebecca at the showroom, who was AAAAMMMAZING!!!! She was so knowledgeable about the products they sell and honest about the prices they charge. She listened to what I said I wanted and guided me from there! She was/is tremendously kind. I appreciated her patience with me as I took sample after sample home, back and forth, for 6 weeks before making a decision. Once the decision was made and the install was scheduled, Kevin and his team laid the floors. They were so professional, flexible and friendly. They were thorough in preparing me for what to expect on the day of the install. They did beautiful work in a timely fashion! Caleb came to put the finishing touches on the stair tread and riser and he too was incredibly professional and took such pride in his craft, not to mention he was super kind! I have been researching flooring for several months. I can say that you will not beat Steve's prices or quality. One thing to keep in mind is the "mil" which measures the protective top layer of Vinyl flooring. Most of the expensive stuff at the 2 big box stores are only 6 mil. You have to go to the company website to find this info and it's buried. It isn't advertised on the boxes at the store. At East Coast Floor everything is organized by mil. If you want commercial grade, 20 mil, it is easy to find. The owner, Steve, is so easy to work with and very knowledgeable. He didn't try to up sell me on the thickest flooring, which I appreciated. It's a no pressure place. There are samples and I took pictures of the product to research at home. I’ve been working with East Coast for the past 2-3 months on a couple of large projects for my home. After being quoted high by another floor store I sought them out to see if they could come in lower. Rebecca crunched some numbers for me which I appreciated and was very friendly and transparent about pricing. In the end, East Cost was a tiny bit less expensive and much easier to work with than the “other guys.” I had lots of questions along the way and Anthony, Stephen and Rebecca were super responsive, helpful and patient. They had everything we hoped for in stock and plenty of options. Our first project came out awesome and as we wrap up the stairs, I’m beyond pleased.
