The hair salon I was going to for years moved too far from where I lived so I was forced to look for another replacement hair salon. I came across Hair by Hisham and decided to go there after reading the great reviews. I walked in with platinum blond highlighted hair. I specifically asked for a “few” low lights and touch up on my roots. I even brought a picture of the low lights I wanted. I Paid $300+ to have them ruin my hair. The “expert colorist” dyed all my hair DARK brown and later tried to convince me of how beautiful it looked. All my highlights- gone, my blonde hair- gone and replaced with a chocolate brown tone! For anyone that has or has had blonde highlights- you know it takes years and sometimes thousands of dollars to get the right shade of blonde if your hair is naturally dark brown. I went running back to my prior salon to try and fix the train wreck this place made with my hair. They couldn’t believe what they were looking at. I can’t begin to describe how upset I am, needlessly to say I will never, ever go come here again. Warning! Please stay away from this salon if you need to color your hair, they will ruin your hair with a smile. Lesson learned; don’t trust google reviews or hair salons that don’t have before and after pictures. Also, equally upsetting was the fact that the owner knew I was new, that I came in with blond hair and didn’t bother to ask if everything was okay after seeing my hair dark brown or if I was satisfied with the color, which most professional hair salon owners do. This has got to be the best hair salon in the Miami area. For years I've gone to a regular small barbershop who would always fail to style my hair as I requested. I decided to wanted to let my hair grow and then style it. I came across Hair By Hisham in Coconut Grove and made an appointment. The experience was awesome the day of my appointment. I was immediately offered something to drink, such as coffee wine or water. Dariel was my stylist who I had the pleasure to meet. I explained to Dariel the hair style I was looking into and he instantly understood me and answered all my questions and concerns. He educated me on the reasons as to why her was using certain clip sizes, why he cut different parts of my hair in different lengths, and how these features would bring out my hair for the style I wish. I was then offered coffee again by Hisham, the owner, and he went next door to the coffee shop, Panther Coffee, and got me the espresso I requested. In the end, I had the hair style I wanted I felt confident with my hair and I was loaded with caffeine 👌🏻 I immediately scheduled another appointment for 2 weeks and I had a great time there. Hair by Hisham is an amazing salon and I saw as all the other customers were happy drinking their wine and having their hair done. Highly recommend...

Hisham is absolutely amazing at his craft. My hair and makeup on my wedding day were better than I could have ever dreamed of. Being a “destination” wedding (6 hours from home), I was very concerned about just picking someone for such an important day so I decided to test out Hisham’s skills by having him color my hair (highlight root touch ups) for the 8ish months leading up to my wedding. In this time we also played around with some wedding style ideas and did my actual hair and makeup trial. The trial was amazing; I got so many complements at the kids birthday party I went to afterwards that I knew I had picked the right place. My final hair coloring was the DAY BEFORE my wedding due to my own schedule leading up to the big day, but I had no doubt everything would turn out perfect given Hisham’s skills. The day of the wedding, Hisham did an unbelievable job; he took all of the feedback from how I felt from the trial and turned it into the absolute perfect look. He also stayed within the time frame he told me which is critical for a wedding day timeline! I can’t wait to visit again for my next root touch-up (yes – I will be driving the 6 hours for my hair) and would absolutely use for any future...
