Absolutely the worst management I have ever came across.. My issue is with the manager.. Nick P.
We came into this store and he told me and my partner 2 days before the launch of the Xbox series X console that there would be a few amount of consoles available..
We waited 14-15 hours to get our hands on the console being in first in line.. Other people lined up sharing their information on what they heard from other GameStops that this specific GameStop would have some extra..
I was also told by this manager that it would be best to go to the store early due to the competition to getting the console.. I made said plans to make the time to arrive at 8:30 pm on November 9th. My partner and I with several other people waited in line for 15 hours only for this manager to not even look us in the eye and lie. He made it his mission to make us look like we were crazy.
Based on a lie he had people out waiting. This is suppose to be a manager and he couldn’t even have the common curtesy to just communicate with us being that he had several tired and disgruntled customers outside. Rather he slammed the door in our face 3 times.. Completely disrespectful.. Not even a simple apology from this poor excuse of a manager Nick P.. This man needs to be fired..
Also i have had a bad running with this same manager at this GameStop before this incident long story short the impression he left was that he was very rude and a know it all narcissist..
We simply took our money somewhere else..

After calling customer service they told me to go to a local gamestop to recover the credit. When I asked him about it he told me that there was no way he was going to give me that credit and chuckled to himself. He then proceeded to give me the same customer service number insisting that I misheard them and then implied that I was trying to get free credit. 45 minutes and a headache later I'm at the gamestop in Margate after the customer service lady told me the same thing the other did. Luckily Corey and Robert at the Margate location were very helpful and took care of it for me. The man at the university location has glasses and a smug attitude....

He is the employee that everyone would want working for them to not only keep customers coming back to shop, providing the reason why they share their service and great items with friends to bring new customers in their doors. My son and I both enjoy our time, stopping in to shop, which definitely says something because I’m not even close to a gamer. Since I’m pretty clueless when it comes to games, Marvin is there to help my son with any questions he has on his purchases and he is amazingly patient with children.
