A Child's Delight — Local services in Corte Madera

a childs delight is one of the few authorized retailers in marin county of sonny angels and smiskis (little collectibles) i came to store and was greeted and the two people at the registers and they were very friendly and helpful! the next day i came back to the store to inquire about trading, however the associate that i talked to didn’t acknowledge me and couldn’t even look me in the eye when i walked up to the counter. when i asked about how trading works she scoffed at me and responded in a very condescending manner. they told me that that whoever told me that gave me the wrong information. i walked out of the store feeling stupid and embarrassed. i had a conversation with another associate and i explained how i felt disrespected with the original associates tone and response. personally i really don’t want to return to this store or the other locations if they don’t hold their associates accountable when addressing customers in a rude way. this is really disappointing and i don’t understand why their associates feel the need to undermine customers and make them feel like liars for...

Selection and prices are just so-so. Expect to may significantly more than online. Which is to be expected for a brick and mortar biz. However, the owner is not friendly and we will not be going back: When my wife wanted to look at something that was in the window for possible purchase, he came over and rudely demanded it be put back! Needless to say she didn't buy anything else (she had already made a purchase a few minutes earlier).

Amazing this place can even stay in business. The other staff seem friendly...but the dude with the goatee...get a clue, man! We've spent 100's of dollars in there but won't be back. There are other, nicer toy stores around like Toy Crazy that don't give...
