I rarely write reviews for clothing, but the team at Banana Republic absolutely earned this one.

I was in a bit of a bind trying to find the perfect suit for a wedding- tight timeline, specific vision, and a healthy dose of stress. From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptional. Not just “helpful” in the usual retail sense, but genuinely invested in making sure I looked and felt great for the big day.

The staff (shout-out to Hilda and Juahil) patiently walked me through fabrics, fits, and colors, offering thoughtful advice without being pushy.

They also connected me with a tailor and helped with same-day adjustments to get the fit just right. It honestly felt like I had a personal stylist and concierge rolled into one.

The suit looked amazing, and the fact that they stayed after closing saved my day. more than anything, I’m just grateful for how smooth and supportive the whole experience was.

The Banana Republic store in The Village at Corte Madera is a great place to visit because it usually has the latest products.

During one of our recent visits, we were looking for a couple of specific items but had trouble finding the correct sizes. We asked one of the associates, a young man who was organizing the shelves, for assistance. He quickly went to the back room to help us find what we needed. As sometimes happens, we had to return later to exchange one of the items for a different size. Again, this was not a problem. I love Banana Republic. The Corte Madera store was recently renovated and the designer messed up with the changing rooms. They are typical size but they don't have a door, rather someone thought it would be a good idea to install a curtain. I am sure that works well if I was shopping by myself, but that is not the case. I have three children so yesterday I had my 5 year old with me, he was in the changing room with me when I was trying on some pants. At some point he got bored and opened up the curtains, the whole store got to see me standing in my underwear. Oh he also walked in on some lady changing as well.
