I love Kohl's I love their prices and I love their Kohl's cash. However I have a grandson in a wheelchair and the only thing accessible about their store is a button at the door that if you was in a wheelchair you probably couldn't reach and they stand there and watch and do not come and help you. You cannot get through their Isles with a wheelchair and I am not exaggerating it. He's just a little guy in a little wheelchair and I would hate to think what an older person an adult would have to go through to get their wheelchair in that store to look at clothes it's next to Impossible. I would think that they would need to make it accessible so that people could come in there in a wheelchair. Right now I am looking for another Kohl's to shop at that has more room because at this time I have to take a wheelchair in there that he used when he was 10 because it's the only one that will barely fit in the clothing section and he's now 15. I've talked to three other people that have disabilities and are either using a walker or a wheelchair and they have the same issues. Also the employees don't do a whole lot to help you and I try to avoid two of them at all costs because when you get a sale item and the wholesale rack is the same item these employees will argue with you when they should just give you the price based it is listed in their sale ad and on the rack rather than argue with you to the point where if you want it bad enough you're going to pay for it and that's not right for a store to do. If it's advertised the cashiers shouldn't argue about it they should just sell it at the prices advertised for. I've had to call the manager of these people more than one time as have other people I watched during the holiday season. Definitely not the calls you want to go through and have a good shopping experience and that's sad because Kohl's is...
Read moreMy visit started very pleasant when I walked in. I was shopping for backpacks for my kids. Associate named Gurneet welcomed us and also honored the Kohlâs cash coupon I had. She also recommended that upon signing up for Kohlâs rewards I can get more discounts. I then remembered I had an amazon return as well. She was quick to guide me to the counter because they also give you additional coupons. She was happy to hold my items as I went to Amazon counter. She also convinced me to sign up for the rewards. However, as soon as I returned to the counters my whole experience in the store changed. Gurneet was very polite to hand me my items as she was helping another customer. I then went to the associate named Pharleen. She did not greet us, and pretty much treated us like I have forcibly asked for her to donate her kidneys to me. This person rolled her eyes when I told her I have coupons I would like to use. Till this day I have never truly believed that there are people working who treat others like we owe them something (referring to those funny reels or clips we see for bad customer service). She didnât offered bags, didnât make eye contact and seemed just pissed off that she had to work tbh. This Kohlâs store is our go to store for the cleanliness and customer service we have experienced prior. The management should encourage more training to associates like Pharleen who just have an attitude. Also her name batch had Sacramento, CA written in parentheses, so maybe sheâs a temp employee. I left the store shocked to see such a major difference in customer service just a few feet away from each other, but Pharleen definitely ruined it for me...
Read moreI purchased few items for $169.25 bill and while the person at the counter was putting things in a bag, the bag was torn and I asked them to change it as it had breakable/fragile items, when the lady who could not share her name, claimed herself to be the manager told me âwe cannot give you new bag, if you want it will cost extra 8 cents, go downstairs holding your torn bag in your lap,and if it breaks you can always come and returnâ!! I was surprised and disappointed by her comments đ She was very rude and when I told her that she said âI have all your information â!
I donât know what she tried to mean by that ,when another store manager named Karissa came to handle the situation but was unable to do so!
I felt so down after the incident , that I returned all the items and the time I invested shopping them went waste. It was really bad and worst customer service experience I heard!! My purchase day was 4/13 and time was 6:51 pm at Kohls Covington and bill was done in second floor. I used to know Kohls is customer first , but this situation is rather different .
You really want customers to carry paper bags in their lap and when the bag is torn while you are packing it ??? Cuâmon! While i picked up the bag it tore off completely infront of them .
We are not returning back unless you make shopping experience better .
We expect you to educate the store managers how they should behave...
