We had a horrible experience at the store. My husband and I along with our 3 year old visited the store at around 5.15pm today. We both had 2 big glass hurricane vases in our hands and we were walking towards the counter when my daughter accidentally bumped into a board in the middle of the floor and fell down. She was crying uncontrollably and my husband and I were in shock before we ran to her, there was a guy who was literally a few feet away from us who saw everything that happened and just chose to look away and walk away. There were 2 ladies at the counter who saw what happened but again chose to ignore what happened and continued with their conversation. My husband and I were both just helpless and we just kept the vases on the floor and ran to our daughter. She was crying uncontrollably and we managed to calm her down. But we were disgusted with the way the store associates handled the whole situation. We are disgusted with the guy who stood near me and didn't even offer to carry the vase till I attended to my daughter. DISGUSTING BUNCH OF PEOPLE. The 2 ladies at the counter were as bad, they chose to ignore and continue with their conversation. Horrible horrible staff! We visited William Sonoma and z gallerie stores and the staff were nothing but helpful. I will never go back to that...
Read moreI have purchased quite a few items from the store in the past. I live an hour and a half away. I see the items on Instagram call and ask to hold. I have bought anything I’ve ever held. Usually not a problem at all and workers are helpful. There is one older lady who ALWAYS gives me a hassle on the phone about holding, will only hold for a short period etc. which is incredibly annoying and rude but I’ve continued to work around. Today Labor Day, I wanted to drive and get a dresser they had as there was no work. I would have spent over 1,000. The older lady who gives a hard time answered and wouldn’t hold the item when I called “because of the holiday” . So I waited until 10 minutes before close, called back and asked if it was still there. It is. I said perfect, I will come tomorrow, even though much more of an inconvenience because of work schedule, but will make do. I asked if in the slim chance someone comes in and buys in the ten minutes it was still open to please call me to let me know as I would be driving 1.5 hours to get there at open and ensure it’s there. The lady refused and told me I am welcome to call in 10 minutes to check again. Incredibly poor customer service, and disregard for valued customers. I will not...
Read moreIn the past 6 months I have had four separate trips to this Pottery Barn location in which I stood as the only customer waiting to be checked out next and never acknowledged. Never was I called up to the register from the line forms here sign, one of the managers each time has seen me and ignored the fact that I’m standing there waiting to be checked out. Today it happened again so I just walked up to the register anyways. Still the sales lady didn’t bother to acknowledge me and when I asked if I could check the price before purchasing one of my items I was told no. She referred to the sales sign and would not scan my item. I left without purchasing anything. The sad thing is I’ve heard this from other customers that don’t even live nearby that have driven an hour to shop here. I live in Dawsonville and frequent this store and almost every time I make or try to make a purchase I have...
