Honestly things just went from bad to worse. Our waitress had no business working with customers, she had an attitude problem from the beginning. We went out to celebrate my husband for veterans day. We had 7 people and although some of those people were kids and they put us at a table for 6.. okay no problem if it gets us in and our food quicker. Waitress had RBF, which again okay maybe she's had a rough night.. she immediately proves it's not just a face problem before we are even able to put out drink order in. We finally got bread and drinks, and she came to get our order. At this point I'm on edge because I don't like the way she's treating our table. Something I ordered they happened to be out of, and I do appreciate when she came out and apologized and asked if I wanted something else instead. We wait for our food and it starts coming out in bits and pieces which is kinda hard to explain to kids why one has food and the other doesnt.. finally we all have food. 3 of us ordered steaks and not one person got it the way they ordered, nothing was seasoned well.. worst of all in opinion is my husband's steak was half burned, the broccoli which is his favorite part was cooked so hard it was basically mush and it wasn't seasoned at all. The one thing he had he could eat was the rice. He's really not one to say anything usually he even ordered his steak rare because he'll eat anywhere from rare to medium.. just not well done or burned. He asked if maybe they could get him some new broccoli that was seasoned.. they brought him raw broccoli with melted butter on it. At this point he had given up trying to have them fix it.. I tried to step in when he was explaining he just wanted broccoli cooked and seasoned.. when the waitress just says we'll that's our broccoli I don't know what you want from us.. the manger came and just argued even more.. my husband was so over it he just told them to completely forget it. I don't understand how a restaurant can charge us $20 for some half decent rice.. on veterans day to a veteran. And to top it all off she had the nerve to thank him for his service.. as if she didn't just belittle us, talk down to us and argue. If I could I'd give them...
Read moreMy first and most important compliment goes to Sadie R. She is as sweet as sugar! She is one of the most wonderful servers I've ever had. I know I'm rather difficult to serve as I require specific adjustments from the norm, but she adapted with absolutely no question and zero delay. I hope all of your new servers can learn from her and mirror their own work after her as she is an absolute delight. That's my first compliment.
The second one goes to Luis. He came over to my table to ensure I was happy with the resolution to a problem pertaining to the portion size of my entree. Props to him for being a manager who cares about his customers and strives for nothing but the best of service for them all. That's my second compliment.
My ONLY complaint was the portion size of the chicken tenders. I received 6 fairly small chicken tenders that I felt didn't represent what I normally get whenever I had gone to a Longhorn Steakhouse in the past. I was very fortunate that my server Sadie R and the manager Luis were gracious enough to resolve this problem.
I felt like I was a treasured guest while dining at this establishment, and I will definitely return in the future. Now for the ratings:

Read moreEDIT::: came back to give them another shot. I’ve avoided Longhorns since the review below. I got a ribeye, rare. Steak arrived cooked properly rare to mid rare though the steak was under seasoned and tough as shoe leather. Cooks like this on a ribeye should not be this tough. Review from 3 years ago is still valid. Staff is good but food is not worth the money. Cook at home and it’s MUCH BETTER !
My family and in-laws went to Longhorns 3/3/22. We were seated pretty quickly as the front of house has always been pretty good. I ordered a gin and tonic along with the filet mid rare. What I got was a double shot of straight gin, and a bland, over cooked filet. Even the sweet potato was bland. Filet is the Cadillac of steaks and while the tenderness was ok, the meat was lacking salt, no flavor, and closer to med-med well than mid rare. My daughter ordered the kids sirloin, as we have on most occasions. Her steak was almost as small as the lemon wedge in her tea! It was tiny and before you think, "this is from the kids menu" all the other times it has been at least double what we received (about the 6 oz or so). Her steak was also bland and over cooked. My in-law ordered a ribeye. Theirs was cooked perfectly mid rare and had great flavor. So they got that one right thank goodness.
Long story short, its risky to get your steak cooked and tasting how you want it. This has been my experience over the last few trips to Longhorns. Its better if I buy my own and cook it at home. This restaurant has gone down hill the last few years and not...
