Don't go here for nothing I had got a car from them on November 31st of last year while they put it down for the 1st of December of last year anyway I got a car from there was a Ford Focus 2013 Ford Focus turned out to have broken brake lines bad rollers and not really much of a brake pads and I was paying $327.19 for the car payment and on top of that I had to get the car repaired and they wanted over $938 and mind you I'm on social security so I don't get that much of an income but anyway the car I did have was a 2005 Hyundai Elantra which was only had like a hundred and seventy-four thousand miles on it I gave them my car as trade with 100.00 but it was a good car and I thought maybe I can get me a little upgrade didn't know that I was going to get approved for credit which was a kind of a shock cuz I got turned down from a whole lot of other ones like Fred Martin Superstore and auto mall on Brittain Road in Akron I got turned down from them and I was shocked because I got approved for Ron Marhofer credit solution it turns out to be a okay they had me driving around in this car the car talk it said bad brakes and I'm driving on the expressway wondering what the hell does that mean bad brakes they had broken brake lines on it and then when I gave the I gave the car voluntarily back to the people that I was making car payments to they turned around and fix the car fix the car in April sold in here in April April 9th in Ohio and then turned around and wants me to pay $8,000 on a $12,000 car that's only a 2013 they sold the car up here in Ohio at an auction for $5,388 so the remainder balance I have to pay I don't think so I voluntarily gave the car back they could had repair the car and asked me did I want the car back they didnt even send me a letter or call me and let me know if I wanted the car back and not they just voluntarily went ahead and know they what they did I know that I gave the car back to normal but you know they could have repaired it and asked me if I wanted it back I would have took it back but they didn't do that so they want to stick me with the $8,000 Bill I'm not paying it I don't care I feel that I got ripped off and then on top of that the guy Mark chase that gave me the car they fired him so I guess they didn't want anything to do with any drama and Because Ron Marhofer is big and he's advertised on TV just be careful when you buy a car's you better off getting used ones than trying to get some of that been on the lot and they give you the first car you know you will have an option to go look around an I didnt if you don't have all that much of a great credit and stuff you should have the option to look at all the cars not go by letting them give you the first pick off the lot there was something wrong with that car and they didn't tell it they just make sure that you know you sign the papers and stuff and you get stuck with that automobile and I only had that automobile for a month I...
Read moreDONT BUY A USED CAR HERE. SERVICE IS HORRIFIC.
I bought a used car here and the day I drove it off the lot the tire pressure gauge turned on, so I returned the next day. They said the computer needed to be reset "on these German cars" and that's why it turned on. The next day the oil light came on and I had to return again, which was wildly inconvenient and had me worried that I bought a lemon. They never said whether they actually had to do another oil change or whether they merely reset the computer again, but I didn't ask many questions. The next day the driver side front wheel started to make a squeaking sound. They couldn't get me in until the following Friday and I was actually a little scared to drive the car for long distances so I canceled weekend plans to drive back to Michigan to see family.
According to them, the brakes were installed (by the previous owner/dealership) without the necessary hardware and it was not caught in their inspection. I did however tell them I did not believe this was a brake issue, but they disagreed.
I will say, they did replace the brakes at no cost to me, but the car continues to crumble. The sound has returned within 10 days and when I brought the car in for servicing (which required me to drop it off on a Sunday and beg someone for a ride to work because they didn't have a shuttle that would take me to work) they called me hours after my appointment was slated to start to tell me that the cost would be 100% mine and I needed to authorize the work. They didn't tell me what was wrong, offer me a quote, nor a timeline to repair. I called to see what time they closed and was told by multiple people it was 8 pm, was transferred to the service desk and back to someone's voicemail (which you cannot reach after business hours as it only loops the automatic messaging system on repeat). I showed up at 6:40 to all the service centers being closed. Sales people attempted to locate my car for me...but my car was no longer on their lot...ANYWHERE!!! I even looked and couldn't find it. I had to yet again beg for a ride home and to work the following day. I have no idea where my car is and now I'm wholly without a car!
I appreciate that they paid for the new brakes, but extremely disheartened that within 10 days of buying it I was in 3 times and now service has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in car buying (this is my 11th car I've bought in my...

I really really hate to give a bad rating and this is actually my first one. Let me start off by saying that I had a very pleasant experience at a different Ron Marhofer dealership but certainly not this location. And one of the most helpful guys is Ed Montar at the Hyundai dealership. First of all was helping my mother do a trade in for an SUV because she wanted one for the winter, her current car doesn't handle well and she feels unsafe on the road. I was using KBB value and was very honest about everything single detail, in fact I forgot to include some features, so I got a price range for a trade in after they inspected it. Immediately upon inspection they offered me the absolute lowest amount possible which is their right but this is the first time I've experienced this at a dealership and this was the nicest vehicle I've traded in by far with no mechanical issues or body damage. This tells me it must be a common practice for this specific dealership, I could be absolutely wrong, but it's pretty much common sense.
And of course the cheaper model vehicle which I was assured would be there was suddenly unavailable. I've had this happen at a dealership before, problems arise but in combination with everything else once again most likely a common tactic of this dealership. Of course the more expensive models where already out front ready for a test drive. But between the KBB ridiculous low-ball offer and the agreed upon cheaper model being "unavailable" my mother had to go with the financing option, otherwise she could have bought the cheaper SUV outright. To be fair her credit is horrible but she would have been able to put 60% down which is pretty damn good.
All of a sudden the staff acted like they wanted absolutely nothing to do with us not offering cheaper models or anything, which there were, a very unpleasant experience, in fact the worst in terms of buying a vehicle. Now I may be a little biased because my mother is now distraught, afraid to drive in the snow, and convinced she will never be able to buy a car. I would absolutely avoid if you have poor credit and I would never take a KBB trade in there. Otherwise I'll say they had some very nice models on the lot. Again this is just the Nissan dealership. At the Hyundai one I had an excellent experience. But after this I won't ever go to a Ron...
