I wish I didn't have to write this review, but under no circumstances should anyone ever have their medications filled at this pharmacy. Called them today regarding one of my prescriptions. The tech who initially answered the phone was very nice, but the pharmacist could not have been more rude, condescending, and unhelpful. I take an uncommon cardiac medication that does not have a generic version at this time. When it was initially filled by this location, for some reason I was given a 15-day supply instead of a 30-day supply, so I was going to run out much earlier than I should have. I notified my doctor and they sent in a 90-day refill 4 days ago. When I called yesterday to ask when this rx would be ready, I was told it would be ready at 2pm today. Called again today and was transferred to the pharmacist, who said the rx would not be delivered to their store until Monday (3 days from now). When I asked who would have told me it would be ready by 2pm, he said verbatim "Well how should I know who told you that?". His excuse for why someone may have told me that was "well we have a lot of new techs so it was probably one of them", even though I'm reasonably certain that I actually talked to him yesterday as well. No apology was given regarding this. He then said that because my medication is a "specialty medication", it has to come from their warehouse, which I understand, it's not a common medication. However, when I asked how to avoid a delay in refills in the future, his only suggestions were to call them 1 week before running out so they could be reminded to order the prescription, or "find another pharmacy". It's not my responsibility as a patient to call a pharmacy and remind them to order my medication from their warehouse so it gets to me when I need it. It should be ordered right when my doctor sends the electronic refill. I did get ahold of Walgreens and will be able to pick up my medication at one of their locations today. The pharmacist working here is a miserable excuse for a human and will look down his nose at you while making sure to do everything except the job he gets paid for. Avoid...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered a vinyl banner online; I went to pick it up and salesclerk could not find my order. After searching and looking I noticed my print-order was laying on top of a trash can folded and bent up. The salesclerk called for the store manager (Jim). He walked up and grab the banner and explain to her that the holes had to be put in all four corners. I explain to him that I received the email that my order was ready for pickup. Jim was rude and very unprofessional; I notice when attempting to straighten out the print there were 2, I asked why two prints were there because I only order 1 Jim stated, "great that was just a waste of paper" There was no need for the sarcasm tone. I asked how long is going to take because I was under the impression of when I received the email, my order was ready. Jim was not but rude and unprofessional. I asked what can be done for the for the inconvenience, Jim asked me what I want him to do. I explain he was the manager just put himself in my shoes as the consumer. Jim the manager says I will not argue with you. I explain I not being argumental I will just call home office and exercise my complaint. Jim rudely stated you could call them now if I wanted too and his name was JIM and make mattes worst as he finished my ordered he laid it on the dirty the floor as if the store does not have a workspace to complete order. Jim lacks the professionalism and customer courtesy to run a store. The treatment I received was very disrespectful and classless to this store that is in a somewhat of a prestige neighborhood. He told the salesclerk to write down the number, I asked if she could write his name down also, he took the paper from her and stated he can write his own name he didn't need her to do it. After calling the home office number, I was giving the impression of a third party that handles customer complaint and may be the reason for his actions because Jim knows nothing is going to happen to him or this is how he treats people that does not necessarily...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location should have never been opened let alone deemed the 24hr for all of Uptown / Oaklawn. The Pharmacy manager absolutely does not care and it clearly trickles down to his team. I too have experienced just like all the other reviews wrong meds with rude service. The latest from āChuckā the Manager tells me but I have a strong suspicion āChuckā is cover for the Manager. I was in the hospital and my mother needed refills, a family friend was going to pick them up. I needed to update here insurance, which you canāt do within the app. I called for over an hour and kept having āChuckā mumble something the hang up or place me on hold until I was fed up or hung up on. The store is no help whats soever. Finally had a āmanagerā answer and say he would have the pharmacy take the call. Then he hung up on me. I couldnāt bare calling back with the never ending announcements much like there horrible 32 mile receipt paper. Im not sure why this store even has employees Iāve never see more than one in the pharmacy at night ever. The store is self checkout and frankly more pleasant. Automate the pharmacy and put the āChuckā and āmanagersā out of there misery. Until then my familyās $5-6k monthly insurance payment will be moving to Walgreens. Now I get to spend hours on the phone getting reimbursed for the full price RX because they donāt even want to...
