Kate Weiser Chocolatier is master of miniature edible abstract art. This small delightful shop is inside the North Park Mall at entrance of Neiman Marcus court. Located to the right of Neiman Marcus and across from the Tiffany & Co. store super easy to find. I purchased a six-piece build-a-box for $18.00. My selection included: Two pieces of Salted Caramel: described on her website as “smooth salty caramel in a dark chocolate shell”. This description does not do it justice. The caramel is perfectly balanced between sweetness and saltiness, wrapped inside dark that is die for. This piece came in a little ball of delight, sprinkled in what tasted like powder cocoa and sugar. No abstract art painted on this one, and no picture taken either, I ate them too fast, however the perfect spheres were divine. Two pieces of Red Wine & Berries: described on her website as “Dark chocolate Cabernet g with freeze dried berries”. Once again, the dark chocolate that surrounds the ganache is perfectly semi-sweet dark chocolate, an elegant taste of just what you’d expect from a high-end chocolatier. The ganache is delightful and flavorful but not overpowering. The red wine berries filling was a bit more tart than sweet however it gives the chocolate a surprising refreshing taste. The berry tartness was well balanced against the semi-sweetness of the ganache. This piece of heaven came decorated with red and pink drippings in a beautiful abstract design, perfectly shaped and shiny just as advertised on her website. One Toasted Coconut: described on her website as “white chocolate ganache infused with coconut”. This coconut ganache was surprisingly good. The toasted coconut was rich and at the same time light and flavorful. The shape was a circle decorated with gorgeous sky-blue color splatters drippings and a white brush stroke, just like the pictures online. One Hazelnut Latte: described on her website as “Layered filling of creamy hazelnut ganache and coffee ganache.”. This was my favorite piece, for all you coffee lovers out there you have to try this. The impression the coffee ganache leaves on your mouth is impressive. The intensity, clarity and authentic taste of the coffee ganache against the hazelnut in my mouth was bold and delicate, could not believe how good this piece is. Very happy with this little gem. The decoration was just as fierce as the taste, this piece is adorned in black, white and gold splatters with a touch of gold leaf on top. Super elegant and just hands down delicious. The beauty of each piece is also worth mentioning each little treat is beautifully crafted, the box put together looks too good to eat. Observing the pieces was just as delightful as eating them. Another thing worth mentioning is their packaging is pretty, functional and sturdy. Overall Kate Weiser Chocolates are miniature edible abstract art that are just as good to look as...
Read moreVisited March 2nd. Love these chocolates but had non-existent service. The female worker wouldn't acknowledge my presence at the counter. I patiently waited a few minutes while she entertained a customer. That customer was deciding and meandering. Not one glance, hello, I'll be with you shortly... nothing. I stop here a few times a year to bring chocolates back to Nashville or during layover shopping for Vail trips. It's conveniently located outside Neiman's and an easy step out into the mall to grab some. I dont mind waiting a few minutes but told my Dallas friend shopping with me that it is not worth the...
Read moreKate Weiser Chocolate offers a delightful treat for chocolate lovers. The chocolates taste incredibly good, with each piece showcasing rich, complex flavors that make every bite a pleasure.
However, it's worth noting that the chocolates are on the pricier side and come in relatively small portions. Despite this, if you're willing to splurge, the quality and craftsmanship make it a worthwhile indulgence.
Overall, Kate Weiser Chocolate is a great choice for those who appreciate fine chocolates and are willing to pay a premium for an exceptional taste experience. Four stars for the deliciousness...
