I love shopping at this macys but I had a horrible experience last week! I was in the finish line section I was looking at a pair of shoes couldn’t find my size and eventually I found them with no tag . I saw the same pair but with a tag and proceeded to get help at the finish line counter a short hispanic young lady attended me after flagging her down. I asked her for the price and she said they are $50 and not on sale . She didn’t even try scanning the item. So I asked her what was the difference between the shoes since they where literally the same but one was 25% off and the other had no tag. . She said idk not the same barcode and walked away. She was really rude and not nice at all basically just wanted me to pay and leave without asking any questions. She seems so bothered when anyone asked for help. I further went to the help desk to see if they could help me or maybe better explain things. I was in line and the young lady comes up again to me and says I can check you out over here because they don’t check people out here . Even though there was like 5 people that paid in front of me . I kindly declined because I had other questions due to just purchasing over $500 worth. She proceeded to go to the back and another cashier comes up to the older man with glasses and whispers in his ear something and he comes around the counter and proceeds to take me out of the line and calls me out in front of everyone. I was so embarrassed . Another young lady helps me again in the finish line section and actually scans the items and looks for the tags and realizes that they actually are in sale! Basically my point is that the hispanic young lady/ teen was super rude! She looked like she didn’t want to be working customer service or anything z she had the worst attitude and gave very short answers when asked something, constantly rolled her eyes . She was short maybe 4’11 shoulder length hair . I wish I would have gotten her name ! I HATE BEING A KAREN BUT SHE MADE ME NOT WANT TO GI...

This store used to be amazing. It had great options, friendly customer service, and everything was organized. Now, it has clearly gone downhill. Nearly every rack is a mess, the fitting rooms are cluttered with items, making it difficult to set your clothes or personal items anywhere, there’s hardly anyone available to help you, let alone greet you, and there’s usually only one checkout line available in the entire first floor (this was true for Christmas as well, which is the worst possible time to only have one checkout line). I remember when the people working in each department greeted you the second you were in their section and made sure to help you with whatever you needed as best they could. It was nearly impossible to walk through the beauty section without someone attempting to give you a sample, tell you about a product, or even just say “hello.” I am a frequent shopper at the Macy’s at Northpark and for the last couple of years, the few times anyone working has acknowledged me was when I approached them directly. I understand that with the pandemic, they are likely short-staffed, however, it’s difficult to accept that as a reason for the lack of “Macy’s” friendliness when you see the employees having conversations with each other, standing there without saying anything, or (although rare) on their phone. I love Macy’s and I visit Northpark often, but I don’t frequent this location as much as I used to, simply because the environment is disorganized and...

I received a Michael Kors wallet from my sister last year for Christmas. Recently the strap broke and I told my sister about it. Right away she told me to bring it back to Macy’s. She’s been a card holder with them easily over ten years. I went straight to the Michael Kors counter and told the lady my wallet broke and it was a gift from last Christmas. She immediately said we don’t take returns for anything past 180 days (something around there) and you must have a receipt. So I explained my sister gifted it to me but she is a card holder and paid with her card. You can’t look it up in her purchase history? She said again we won’t take it back. She clearly had an attitude with me. I then asked if it’s normal for their expensive purses and wallets to not last that long and she said well I would have to see the item. First mention of wondering what I’m actually trying to exchange. So I pull out my wallet that does nothing other than sit in my purse and show her the strap and how it has disconnected. She said she’s never seen anything like it. I highly doubt that no one else has this issue. I walked away so upset with the attitude and lack of care Or service I received. Maybe next time actually try to see what the issue is first. It’s very disappointing that my $100+ wallet is broken after a year and Macy’s could less. I understand policies. Maybe you can’t take it back but you can show a little compassion and loose the attitude. Terrible Terrible Terrible...

Macy’s at NorthPark Center – Dallas, TX I always have a great experience every time I visit Macy’s at NorthPark. The staff here are consistently friendly and professional, which makes shopping enjoyable. The store is well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate. There’s a Starbucks conveniently located upstairs in the men’s clothing section—right at the corner as you come off the escalator. Upstairs, you’ll also find a Toys “R” Us section near the bedding area, which is great for anyone shopping with kids or looking for gifts. They offer a paid stylist service for those who want help with their wardrobe or style, and there's also a furniture section for home shopping. While they used to have an in-store alterations service, I recently asked and confirmed that they no longer offer it. Overall, it’s a solid department store with a wide range of options in a mall that truly has everything.

Shopping for wedding present. 2nd floor, a dozen sales people were all around one station at top of escalator; no one on the floor in the china/kitchen area at all. Found item I wanted, but it was filthy and all boxes for it were empty. I guess you take what you want off table and hunt for the box. I've seen thrift stores with better set ups. When I exited store, party was still going on at the one station. Folks on first floor were spread out, so no idea what going on on 2nd floor. I'll order online from now on. After a trashed plus size section a month ago, having to scan my card before being told the price in the jewelry dept, and now this, I'm done with this store.
