So grateful to have discovered SkinPharm! I was able to schedule a microneedling procedure with Alyssa and my whole experience from start to finish was a dream! The lovely ladies who run the front area were absolutely amazing at helping me schedule my appointment and even assisted me with finding their suite upon arrival. The practice is absolutely stunning! Nothing clinical or sterile about it! Incredibly well designed and welcoming. After getting checked in I was able to discuss all of my areas of concern and goals with Alyssa and she was ridiculously kind and informative! We decided to add on a PRP treatment to my microneedling session and even took some extra time to discuss my questions regarding Botox and Dysport. I experienced little to no discomfort during the procedure and Alyssa made sure to answer any questions I had along the way. Almost a week out and I am LOVING my results! My skin feels renewed and refreshed and Iâm already seeing a difference in the texture. During my visit I also had the privilege to meet the founder, Maegan! While speaking to her about her organization and teams, you can tell without a doubt that SkinPharm is her passion and she strives for excellence in all that they do and provide to their clients! Unfortunately, my experience at the front desk with Lauren was the opposite. When I called to ask about moving my appointment, I was told no and that there would be a fee if I canceled, which I accepted. I explained that I was driving an hour in Dallas traffic and might be a little late. Later, however, Lauren called me back and said if I was more than 10 minutes late, my appointment would be canceled. I told her I might be 11â12 minutes late, and had even canceled one of my own patients to make it work, but the way she delivered this was incredibly condescending and dismissive. It wasnât the policy itself, but the way she spoke to me and talked down to me in a way that felt unprofessional and unwelcome.
I thought it might just be me until I went back through the reviews and saw that another person mentioned a very similar experience with Lauren. As a healthcare practice owner myself, I know how important the front desk is in representing the brand. Before booking, I messaged you on Instagram to confirm you offered Juvederm, and you said yes. When I scheduled the appointment, I even noted that I had a free syringe and asked to be contacted if there were any questions or verification needed.
After driving two hours to get there, I was told you donât offer Juvederm for lips. This was never mentioned before, and no one reviewed the notes I left or followed up with me. As a regular person, I didnât know there were different types of Juvederm, and your team didnât clarify that distinction.
To âmake it right,â I was offered $200 off a syringeâstill leaving me with a $500 charge when I expected to pay $0. You also said you couldnât find my reward in the system. I declined and went down the street to Itâs A Secret Med Spa, who had no issue using my free syringe.
