Where do I even begin?! One experience has created a customer for life & already sent a ton of other customers Hopdoddy’s way! I have several food allergies & it’s always so nerve-racking to eat outside of my own kitchen for fear of getting sick. Add that to ordering via uber eats & I was basically expecting to get sick one way or another, but I had no other option since I was visiting out of town for work. I called before placing the order & Cody answered. I immediately knew I was going to be taken care just by the way he was approaching my questions & concerns. People with allergies & intolerances will know exactly what I’m talking about! Cody instructed me that he would label my order accordingly when he saw it come through. After I had placed the order, I realized that I didn’t specify between allergy/non-allergy for an item (the other person I was ordering for was a non-allergy) & called back right away to clarify. Once again, Cody assured me that he would take care of things & told me that he had a food allergy as well & knew how stressful it is to eat out. I thanked him profusely & told him that people like him are the reason lifetime customers are created. Thirty minutes later our order was delivered & I was BLOWN AWAY. Cody & the kitchen had labeled things to ensure I knew what was safe/what wasn’t & I almost cried! This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a fast-paced restaurant. Please give Cody all of the recognition he deserves, as well as the kitchen staff & management! The food was delicious — highly recommend the sweet potato fries — & I did not get sick! I would give 500...
Read moreHello world, I’m back! As we saw the Covid cases slowly spike up, I had to take some time from eating out and I encourage everyone to take small breaks as such! My first outing back out, I did a family day. Very casual and was wanting something very hardy and American. Burgers! As long as I’ve lived in the area, I don’t eat here much, so I figured I’d give it a go. For this location, I wouldn’t bring younger kids, as the seating is high top and hard for younger kids to sit comfortably. The space inside was very large and a nice size bar! I’m sure after 5pm, it can be a very lax place to enjoy a burger and beer with some sports on. The fries are a nice sized portion, placed in their own separate bowl from the burger. I feel the fries were over seasoned and made it very hard to eat. My burger initially was undercooked; very raw. The person assisting at the counter was very nice about it and ensured it would be cooked fully coming back out. Unfortunately because we had to wait so long, I ended up taking the burger to go as sitting there just wasn’t an option any longer. My margarita was late but resolved by getting a size larger. Since I had so many issues, I didn’t get great photos, but enough for you to give it a try on your...
Read moreThis location of Hopdoddy Burger Bar sits right on the main road, and I lucked out with a parking spot right out front. Inside, the restaurant is clean, modern, and full of natural light thanks to the large windows that offer a great view of the trolley passing by and the lively pedestrian scene.
I ordered the Mother Nature burger and it was absolutely delicious—cooked to perfection with a rich, savory flavor that really hit the spot. My date’s burger was missing a few items initially, but before we even had to say anything, the manager and our server were already on it. They were incredibly polite and quick to make it right, which really impressed us.
We also met Mathew, the bartender, who was not only super knowledgeable but also quick with the drinks. Even as the bar started to get busier, he took the time to chat with us and make us feel welcome.
Although the dining area was a bit slow at the time, it was clear the online orders were keeping the kitchen busy. We ordered two burgers, the garlic parmesan fries (a must-try), and had two beers each. The total came to just over $60, and it was well worth it for the quality of food and service.
Overall, a great experience. We’ll...
