Found ourselves parking at the garage of this facility today, July 2nd approx 6pm. As we exited the parking garage we noticed my sons shoe had come undone. My son is disabled and wears leg braces and therefore uses a special type of shoe. So we stopped in the corner of the elevator lobby/ entrance to adjust his shoe which we had to at that point to completely take off. We noticed some chairs at this lobby and thought we could sit really quickly . To our surprise we were reprimanded by the the rude gentleman sitting at the desk. He obnoxiously yelled across the lobby for us to leave. And we explained that we needed to fix his shoe, as it was difficult to do with his leg braces. He said no and literally began shooing us away. It was completely disrespectful, humiliating and infuriating. He literally did not want to allow us to even take up the a corner of the elevator/entrance hallway to help our son. So at the point we stood our ground and stayed at our small corner while this inhospitable rude man continued to make remarks under his breathe and say “ he’s just tying his shoe”. No sir, my son has a disability and cannot just simply tie his shoe. What an unexpected and disappointing lack of humanity this establishment showcased tonight. We asked for a managers number and his response was “I don’t have to give you nothing’.” So I had to turn to google and yelp reviews to share...
Read moreThe Stack Deep ellum is a 16-level mixed-use creative office project in Deep Ellum. The building is intended to relate to the historically significant context of the neighborhood while also serving as an innovative model for future development in the district. It will provide much needed parking relief for the district and will activate a key site along the Commerce Street corridor.
The building is pursuing LEED Gold or better, Gold Fitwel, WiredScore, and WELL Building certifications, positioning it as an exemplary development that is sustainable and supportive of the health and welfare of its occupants. The massing is split horizontally between a 9-level public parking podium and a 7-level office tower.
The podium levels are clad in masonry veneer on the primary street-facing elevations, detailed in a traditional historic manner. Careful attention has been given to the design of the first 25’ in height from the ground in order to contribute to the memorable and enjoyable pedestrian experience of the neighborhood. An amenity level with a large wrap-around balcony delineates the break between the podium and tower masses as the tower steps back from the podium facade in order to minimize the appearance of the upper massing.

Read moreI have no idea why this parking garage has such bad reviews! I feel like for Dallas parking $25 is spot on. I use this garage every time I see a show at the bomb factory and it always has spots so no more having to drive around the local smaller lots hoping to get a spot and dealing with driving in circles. I love knowing exactly where to go to park and get on to the show. After the show there is quite a few people trying to leave but it’s never been that bad in my opinion, nothing that sticks out as a terrible wait. I tell everyone to park here for stress...
