My room was clean, cozy A+. I especially appreciated the little design details that made the space feel both stylish and welcoming. My room was clean, cozy A+. I especially appreciated the little design details that made the space feel both stylish and welcoming. Staff were friendly and professional throughout from check in to check out, I felt taken care of. Shoutout to the front desk for going the extra mile with a great local food recommendation! The overall value of my stay felt right in line with what I received, and I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a unique, comfortable, and locally inspired experience. Read moreI am currently staying at hotel indigo Dallas for an esthetics conference at the convention center. I chose this hotel because of the group rate and the proximity it is to the convention center. Lazarus at the front desk was extremely kind, and helpful, I definitely give him 5 stars for his customer service. I had to be moved rooms because the first one I was in had an unusual humming noise that was constant. My new room that I am in is gorgeous but the noise is HORRIBLE. You can hear every bit of traffic driving by; the sirens, the cars, the exhaust, the music in the park, even if people are being loud on the sidewalk. I am on the 8th floor, so not close to the ground and I can still hear everything. The hotel provides earplugs, which should have been a tell tale sign of what was to come. If you don't sleep with them in, you won't be getting any sleep at all. The room itself is mostly clean, you can tell the staff doesn't clean between the vanity and the wall as it looks like there is spilled products on the floor, and hair that definitely isn't mine. Valet cost $44/night on top of the room cost, which to me is ridiculous. If you self park it is $19/day but there are NO in/out privileges. Also, the valet is SLOW. I ate at the restaurant here in the lobby and it was good, but not worth the wait. There was ONE man working the entire restaurant and bar. He was extremely friendly and did the best he could, but he couldn't keep up. I was there for 1hr40min just for chips/queso, a burger, and a slice of cheesecake Togo. There were also table settings that were used and dirty from breakfast earlier that morning (which is disgusting). I would not recommend staying here, the convenience in location does not make up for all the downfalls. I think I will stay on the outskirts of town next time where I don't have to listen to road noise all hours of the night, or pay $88 in...
Read moreBooked the room through hotel tonight app for a one-night stay due to fumes from a home renovation. I read the reviews and thought it a safe decision. WRONG!!! The hotel staff was friendly and the front desk clerk, Tamika upgraded our room to a "suite". When you stay at this hotel and you enjoy it, and believe that you are having a great hotel experience, it's because you don't know any better. Its like an upgraded flop-house. But it takes all kinds, so its ranked a 4.3. This hotel is not a 4 star hotel - Trust! Hotel accommodations are subjective based on the individual. If you are looking for a hotel downtown and you don't care about anything else, then this may work for you. If you are staying downtown, because you want the benefit of having a downtown experience and the accommodations that would suggest downtown Dallas - skip it. You won't be satisfied! Look at the Adolphus for that boutique feel.
The room was tiny. (Like tiny house living). To call 1103 a suite is laughable. The heater powers on and off; and by the time it powers off, UT powers back on and you are listening to the clainking, and humming of a heater all night long. This is in their suite. We were told by maintenance that the Wi-Fi was so poor that we could not get Netflix or YouTube. They did not have any premium channels. On a cold winter night, what do you do other than snuggle up and watch Netflix? Welp!!! Find something else to do if you book Hotel Indigo because its is not prepared for a modern hotel living experience.
When I called to alert hotel tonight of my experience, the next day. (Mind you we were too exhausted for a hotel move, we just slept the best we could and checked out first thing in the next morning.) The general manager who was never there and never spoke to me lied and said none of those things occurred. I guess they really needed the money! Good luck if...
