Ideal Furniture — Local services in Danbury

I promised Kaylyn I would write this, and this review is prior to me receiving the furniture I ordered, because I expect it is not going to be an issue. I stop in this store now and then to see what they have. Someone always says hi from the desk, or gets up to greet you. The store is always very clean and organized. If you tell them you are just looking around they won't bother you until you ask for help. I found a 3 piece sectional and ottoman I really liked. Kaylyn showed it to me, and then told me what they could do on the price and delivery. I went home to talk to my Spouse, and we decided to take one more look at things online. When searching online we found the exact same set and it was a little better priced than what Ideal was offering. I sent over a couple pictures, and very quickly they responded, letting me know what the best they could do was. When it was all said and done, I did pay a little more to buy it from Ideal Furniture, but that is because I liked the idea of dealing with a local store, and Kaylyn was great! She also has spent a lot of time searching for other items I am looking for, so I am sure I will continue to buy from them in the future. I want to start off by saying that I’m very disappointed on how they’re customer service is. But my reason for this bad terrible review is because I purchased a set of couches from them, a month into me having them I noticed a defect. Since I work three jobs I didn’t have time to sit and be on a phone call for two hours explaining that my couches have a defect, so a few months went by and when I finally had time to make a phone call on couches that IM MAKING PAYMENTS on I was told they couldn’t do anything about the problem?! They don’t even want to go through the warranty to replace the couch that came defected.How ridiculous is that, yea it hasn’t even been a year it’s been five months now & when I called I had the couches for three months .
