I have been a planet pizza customer since I first moved to ct circa 20 years ago. As of lately I am simply so appalled by the inability of the employees, including management, to communicate effectively and lack of attention to customer service and satisfaction)such that I have not had what I could describe as even satisfactory experience this past year. Last night was beyond unacceptable and unprofessional it has prompted me to write this review. In short, iI placed my order over the phone for delivery and specifically told the woman to have the driver call upon arrival and I would come outside. She said the driver would be there in about 45- 50 minutes. After an hour and 15 minutes I called to find out when my delivery was going to arrive as I still did not receive a call. I was told the driver called and I didn’t pick up and that he left the food on the front porch of the apartment building I live in. When we went outside the food was not there. I called back and told the woman and she insisted on sending me a screen shot that her driver called me and I didn’t pick up. I realized immediately that the driver was given the wrong area code as my number is s 914 Num ber. I was getting extremely upset and frustrated and admit to raising my voice as I was demanding that my $57 delivery be made again and redelivered. They then said that I was rude and therefore they would not complete my order and refunded my money. Two hours after I had originally ordered for 5 people I had to figure out ( on a Sunday night when everything closes early) How to feed everybody- I am not happy. I thought the owner might want to know how management handles there own mistakes. I also prior to this order was not allowed to use a coupon that was online bc I didn’t print it out! Read moreI ordered food for delivery using a third party app and received cold food multiple times. Almost a week after reporting the cold fund and submitting a refund request because the food was cold, I get multiple calls from the restaurant telling me I can’t order anymore because I asked for a refund on one item and that my food was supposed to come cold. The food was French fries and they want to tell me that it’s supposed to come cold. Don’t eat here because if you have a problem with your food they will take no responsibility and make it seem as if you’re in the wrong, not to mention they are extremely rude to their customers telling me that I shouldn’t have a problem because my food is supposed to come cold. They are immature calling a customer from several different phone numbers over a food issue from almost a week ago saying they just got notified of the refund from almost a week ago. They then wanted to tell me they don’t see my French fries on my order and that I’m lying when it is clearly listed right on my order. Terrible terrible...
Read moreCan only give this place one star for the food we did receive. Only half our order was delivered and when we called to state so we were told the food was delivered and basically the manager was calling us liars. We told him only was bag was received and he argued that was not true for over 10 minutes !!! Finally he agreed to redeliver the missing items but yet it did not come. After calling several times from us he finally agreed to refund our money and credit the debit that was used and charged. Apparently they delivered the food to the wrong place and someone else signed the card receipt. Their error not ours. Finally after being called a liar more than once and us calling our money was finally refunded. SUCH A HASSLE !!! No more Planet Pizza for this...
