I have to say. This was a very wonderful experience. It was my first time being there. Me and my father went there for lunch. And the service was awesome. Our waiter was very nice, very humble. Person took his time explaining how 2 order the food? What was good? What was spicy, what was not spicy? Etc, How to cook the food on the grill, Or how to change the temperature settings on the pots? The man really took pride in his job. And was a very, very good waiter. Me and my dad did the all you can eat k pot and grill they also had a seafood boil,(which we will try next but all you can eatttt come on 🤣 had to no questions asked lol. So then you choose what type of broth you get for your pot and my dad got the bone broth for his pot. And I got the Szechuan Broth. The cool thing about it is that they come in 3 levels. Mild medium and spicy i chose mediumlet me tell you it was very very delicious but definitely had a kick i think next time i will do mild but i ate it with no regretsnot ever a letteršŸ¤£šŸ’€ ( meet the millers quote ). Everything that is marinated goes on the grill they show you how to cook it not gunna lie was a little difficult at first but you get the hang of the process quick And every time we were done grilling, they came out and switched the grills for us instantly talk about service, they were so on point with it it was awesome. The food was very delicious and was fresh, highly. Recommend the k pot sauce. The food came out very fast. We started cooking immediately and on top of that they had appetizers and sauces, desserts like pineapple and little pieces of cake that you can go in have with no additional charge which was awesome cause you get all you can eat then a little extra. Highly recommended for any lunch. Quick bite to eat. But I definitely wanna try dinner. There were more options like steak. Etc. But if you wanna go get a quick drink and have a quick dinner with friends or just go out to eat. Highly recommended will definitely be back. Thank you to the waiter, and thank you to all the staff. That works there. Appreciate the service. And hard work you guys didšŸ™šŸ½šŸ’Æ

Terrible service Went here on the first day. As my party of 3 and a party of 8 behind us entered, a blonde waitress named Britney discourteously exclaimed ā€˜I thought we were done serving at 8, why are there people still walking in?’ to the hostess. It pretty loud in the restaurant, so the fact we could hear her and see how she looked at us, it was clear she wanted to be heard. Upon seating, menus were running out. A QR code at the table would help that issue. We ordered 3 hot pot and got K BBQ. Szechuan broth was good, very spicy. Ordered the spicy and garlic chicken, spicy salmon and steak, chicken was cut very finely. A bit difficult to cook properly due to size. Steak was generously sized. The both was too spicy for my mother, the manager kindly offered to exchange the broth for a less spicer one. We appreciated that. Service at first was pleasant. The portions of the vegetables were quite small, we ordered mushrooms and bok choy, we received 3 shiitake mushrooms and 3 pieces of bok choy. Due to this, we had to order more, which may have caused our waitress to rush us out. She was not clear with her reasoning for the dessert not coming, something about it taking too long to make, when my party was still eating their meal. The manager later said they didn’t have it, which was fine, unsure of the lack of communication on a simple thing. Our plates were cleared too quickly, some still with uneaten items. Which was saddening due to the small portions. They need fans to help reduce the smoke. Hopefully they improve as this was their first day. I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon, will continue to drive to Flushing, NY for hot pot.

Had hot pot & kbbq. Hot pot broth was the thai tom yum and so spicy to the point I had tears. Granted, it had a spicy level to it on the menu, I asked our waitress how spicy it was. When she checked with someone else they said not so bad.. I gave it a shot and couldn't finish the food because of it. Certain items that I ordered must have absorbed it more than other items making it too difficult to eat. The broth was flavorful but had a strong tomato taste. The sliced beef and pumpkin was the best part of the hot pot. The Korean BBQ was good. Happy we were able to cook the food ourselves. We thought it was funny that only 3 pieces of zucchini came out at a time so had to order more. The beef bulgogi was really amazing. It did produce alot of smoke, but since we cook alot we didn't mind it. However, I can see how someone else can be bothered by it. Our lettuce wasn't washed all the way so we didn't finish that either. I hate to leave unfinished food but sadly had to. We enjoyed making our own sauces at the little bar in the back. However, half of the bar wasn't labeled. We didn't mind, but if someone had an allergy to something specific you wouldn't know what it was. They did apologize many times for that which was appreciated. It's a new place, and I get it. Our waitress was extremely nervous and was cleaning the windows right next to us (which I'm sure someone told her to do) but still did a great job. She didn't forget to ask if we had allergies! Would we go again? Yes we would. Probably for Cajun and kbbq.

Summary: It was ok but has some issues that would make me choose other Hungry Pot locations over this one. Ayanna was a great server, but be warned workers will constantly mess with your grill temp while you’re cooking. Food was a little bit bland. Bathroom was not convenient to access.

Overall, this spot had its good and bad but it didn’t quite measure up to the quality of other Hungry Pots. Westport is much better.

Also, take the reviews with a grain of salt since you can receive a free drink for leaving a Google review. Most people will just give 5-stars to get their drink.

Food: it was okay. Standard selection for Hungry Pot but portions on some items were noticeably less generous than other locations. Also, flavor was a little underwhelming. I thought it was weird that salt and pepper were brought to the table before we even ordered which makes me suspect that this has been a common complaint.

Service: Ayanna was our server and she was really great and attentive. She often took extra time to ensure we were enjoying our meal as much as possible and I watched her do this with all of her tables. What RUINED the service for me was that the bussers kept messing with the temperature of our grill, unprovoked. I’m not sure if it’s an instruction from management or if they were just a little over-zealous but I almost walked out because it was so annoying. We even asked them to stop doing it and they still came around and did it afterward. I’ve never had that problem at any other KBBQ place before (including other Hungry Pot locations) and for that reason alone I WOULD NOT COME BACK.

Location: attached to a hotel. Not a big deal but didn’t like having to leave the restaurant to go to the restroom in the hotel. Can be a far walk for older customers, people with kids, or those with mobility issues. Also, there was active plumbing work being done on one of the two sinks complete with rusty/dirty tools on the counter. No plumber was around either which seems like a...
