Tivoli Pizza & Trattoria — Restaurant in Danbury

I’ve been a customer of Tivoli’s for quite a while. I’ve been greeted with personable, friendly service.

The food is beyond delicious, and their spinach egg drop soup is so good, I’m salivating just thinking about it! 😂

I highly recommend this fabulous little restaurant!!

Update: On February 21st, I ordered 3 servings of their unbelievably delicious spinach soup (I forget the name). My husband picked up my order, and unfortunately, when he returned home, he discovered that the lids to the soup containers weren’t fully sealed; the bottom of the bag containing the soups blew out, resulting in a lot of soup on our garage floor.

Andy called Tivoli immediately, and they apologized profusely and asked if he’d be willing to come back to the restaurant to get 3 more containers (AND extra rolls!!😋). Andy brought home my favorite soup (other than my own fantastic homemade chicken noodle soup & beef soup..😉), because he wanted me, his honey for 33+ years, to enjoy what I requested.

Tivoli restaurant didn’t question what happened, and immediately (& with good humor) took care of the problem. As my initial review stated, this little restaurant has an excellent selection of delicious food, their staff is great, and I continue to rate them as an excellent little restaurant to enjoy...

I recently had the unfortunate experience of having to pick up a takeout order at this location. The gentleman working behind the counter must be related to ownership because there is no way anyone in their right mind would put their business in the hands of this individual. Perhaps Tivoli is participating in a program for special needs individuals and for that I would commend them but they really should have someone else nearby to take over when this individual must walk and talk at the same time. I was just staring in amazement at what this nation now produces. I can only imagine what would have happened if I opened up a bag of peanuts. This young man was totally incapable of bagging an order while answering the phone. Totally incapable of handling the hustle and bustle that goes on behind the counter of a pizzeria. He couldn't even figure out how to hang up a telephone. Or where to even get a piece of paper to write on. It was both amusing, frustrating, and outright sad to see what has become...

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Pizzeria Tivoli From the moment I walked in, the warm aroma of freshly baked pizza greeted me, setting the perfect tone. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed.

The pizza itself was a masterpiece — perfectly crispy crust, rich and flavorful sauce, generous toppings, and gooey, melted cheese. Every bite was a celebration of quality and craftsmanship. I also enjoyed the variety of options on the menu, from classic Margherita to creative specialty pies.

The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for both a casual meal and a special occasion. Prices were reasonable considering the high quality of the food.
