On 12/24/18 I purchased a case and a screen protector ($55.00 total) for my new iPhone XS. The young lady at the kiosk was very busy with customers. We had to wait in order for her to wait in line at another kiosk for change.
The next day I received the same accessories for my phone as Christmas gifts. Since I hadn’t opened the accessories I purchased the day prior I decided to return them.
When I returned to the kiosk on December 26th, I was notified by a young man (named Saif) that all purchases were non-refundable. He showed me where it states it on my receipt. So a customer wouldn’t know this information until AFTER they make a purchase🤨
I took pictures of the kiosk and NOWHERE are there any signs stating this policy. (Slightly across the way from this kiosk is a ZAGG kiosk. TWO Notices notifying customers that all sales are non-refundable and prices are posted.) Saif took a picture of my receipt and said he sent it to the owner and I should hear something by the next day. The young man also gave me the number to the owner because he wasn’t authorized to give refunds. I called the number to explain the situation, however the voicemail is not set up so no messages can be left. (How convenient) I also sent a text as well. No response.
I returned to the kiosk again while I was at the mall a few days later, and the same young man gave me a lot of double talk. I asked him to call his boss while I was standing there. According to Saif, the person on the other end told him he was in a meeting and would call me in an hour. Needless to say, I never received a call.
I returned to the kiosk for the THIRD time. At this point Saif then gave me the owner’s email address and said the owner responds to email quicker than phone calls( yea, sure). Again, no call back, no response.
STAY AWAY from this kiosk. Double talk and deception is all they are selling.
I have contacted the business office of the Danbury fair Mall to inform them of the negative business practices of this kiosk. I’m sure the Danbury fair Mall does not want to be known as supporting companies that commit fraud against its customers.
Again, STAY AWAY. This kiosk will deceive you.
And to think, This could have all been avoided by placing signs notifying customers of their policy.
Note: I would have given it a half star but that option is...
Read moreI took my iPhone 7 to have my cracked screen repaired. However, not only was the screen they used to replace the cracked screen messed up (foggy), but they also broke other parts of my phone internally. I went back to the store with my complaints, so they "fixed" one part of the phone, but I needed to wait for a new screen that was not foggy. So on my third trip, they replaced my foggy screen with a clear screen, but then my phone did not work again!! The sensor did not work so I was unable to speak on the phone with it to my ear. In addition, texting was tricky. So I went back for a 4th time requesting my money back. Each time I went in to speak with a owner, but the owner was never available. The sales rep texted the owner that I wanted to speak with him. He received permission to call, but the owner refused to speak with me and would only offer a partial store credit!!!! I felt robbed!!! Going back 4 times and the phone remained unfixed!!! I finally went to Apple who repaired the phone for a little cheaper than these guys and the job was done right the FIRST time!!! So I waited a little longer - big deal!! But going back to have a incompetent service for my phone was a much...
Read moreThe ABSOLUTE WORSE!!! Do not come here. We brought our iPad to replace a broken screen and they kept it for 6 months. We constantly had to contact them for updates. They would not answer our calls. When we blocked our number, they would finally answer our calls. They gave excuses, such as part has not arrived, needed to reorder part from China, technician on vacation. Then when we received the iPad, the screen only worked in portrait and not landscape. We took it back and they kept it for 3 more months, with more excuses, such as we need to replace a part, technician is having a baby. We asked them to just put the iPad back the way it was and we would just use it in portrait mode, but we would like a refund. They agreed, but instead DESTROYED our iPad and gave us a refund. We had two technicians from two different companies look at our iPad and they agreed that our iPad was sabotaged. One company said, "Wow, they obliterated that iPad. They actually should have given you money because they made a simple repair turn into a destroyed device."
