Office Depot — Local services in Daphne

Good customer service must be a thing of the past. I have been in the store twice in the past month. Not once have I ever been greeted and asked what assistance I might need. There was only one other customer in the store today, and again I was completely ignored while trying to figure out their fax machine. I muddled through it by myself and was shocked to see that they charge $2 per page! Not to mention that it takes an entire minute per page to actually get the fax out. After finally completing the fax, which took 20 minutes, I asked the manager how I could prove the facts actually was sent. He claims that the receipt for the money I paid is the proof. There was no confirmation page printed or anything. I rather doubt the social security administration is going to accept a money receipt as proof, but I suppose I can throw up a prayer to go with it. This just isn't a very personable store and the people in it...

Purchased item275-833 3 hole punch for Dean Cemetery Association last year...Opened the box for the first time on Saturday to punch holes in bank statements for upcoming annual meeting, defective...it punched the holes off the edge of the paper .. The manager put a piece of card stock to punch...same results.. he admitted it was defective however he refused to exchange it for one that was working properly. Paid $23.42...he finally said he could give me a $5 refund...I did buy a more expensive hole punch (because Im not aware of another office supply store in my area) and had another clerk test it out before I left the store...decided not to purchase cemetery signage from them.asked the Manager for his name but didn't get it. asked the manager...

Recently after moving to Daphne, and basically not knowing a soul here, I found myself in dire need of a new laptop. After purchasing a home that has become a "money pit", I certainly was in no mood to spend BIG BUCKS on a computer. This nice young lady Kayla Wetzler, was extremely helpful in finding me one that was within my budget, she explained the programs professionally, the warranty and even went so far as to set it up so that I could easily access all my daily needs. I would certainly do business with this store, as well as highly recommend this young lady as a leader in her field. She is not only knowledgable, professional, and extremely friendly. Kudo's!!!!
