Service was terrible. I would give it 1 star, but the food was very good. It was New Years Eve and very slow (5 tables, my party of 2 included), yet it took entirely too long to get our sushi order in, another 20 to receive it, at which mine came out wrong (to our server's credit she noticed it as she brought it to table... I HATE spicy mayo and requested to not have any), and then another 15 minutes to get the remake back out. Almost 50 minutes from coming in before I recieved the sushi I ordered. She apologized but no offer of discount or coupon for next visit or anything else was done to make me feel that anyone actually cared about the delays... on a night that each table should have gotten allstar service as slow as they were. Would not reccomend unless you have nothing but time to kill, or are just dying for their sushi (which, once again IS very good imo; but you can get as good or better sushi elsewhere with much...

4-1-22: We walked in at like 9:25 but they had all the tables closed except for the ones people were sitting at so we just stood there waiting & finally a group got up. At this point it was 9:30 and the lady told us kitchen closes at 9:30 so they couldn’t serve us. I had surgery 3/31 and the only other places open have super greasy food that I don’t think is a good idea for me to eat right now with being nauseous. 4-2-22: I went back because again I can’t eat greasy food and I get the simplest roll there. I called asking to make a to go order and got told sure just give me a few seconds- completely get because I worked at a restaurant for 5 years. But then I was on hold for 7 minutes. I hung-up to call again and I got the busy signal. If you are going to forget that you have a customer on the line then don’t answer the phone, if you’re not in the mood to take a call in then don’t...

I eat here at least twice a week when I am in town (which is quite often). If you're on a budget, then remember that 2-5pm is "Happy Hour" which means BOGO sushi rolls!!! Lou, the Sushi Chef, is Amazing! Ask for his "chef special roll", which is comprised of some surprising ingredients that combine to create an unforgettable and absolutely delectable mouthful of yummmmm. The "Black Pearl" and the "Cyndi Lauper" are my next roll choices. If you want Super Healthy, Melt-in-Your-Mouth Tender, Eyes-Rolling-Back-in-Your-Head Ecstasy, then try the "Tuna Twister"appetizer (think spicy tuna & sliced avocado)! The restaurant is clean and the staff is super friendly. I recommend this place to everyone I talk to when I'm down there.
