My first visit in the store was okay. I bought a pair of pants and toys. The owner was friendly and helpful on that day. However I found out later on they charge way more than other stores for the same items.
After a week or so, there was a story time event in the shop so I booked our spot by paying $7. The event was so so, $7 was including craft time and refreshments but we did not get craft materials until everyone else got theirs done and we did not even get any refreshments but I saw the owner was walking around and giving cookies. The event was also for older kids and it would have been helpful if there was ages recommendations for the event. It was only $7 but we got treated unfairly and unwelcomed. It was not worth it at all.
Whatever happened in the event. I do not recommend this store unless you just want to spend money when you can get the same items at much cheaper price.
REPLY TO THE OWNER: Thank you for responding my review but I see that you have not mentioned on anything what I addressed in the first place. You said you offered us some extra attention and I am very confused as if you really did, how come I experienced poor hospitality on that day especially never got offered any refreshments or never got craft materials until everyone else got theirs done. Your strategy of customer service sounds brilliant but sadly for some reasons you did not included us in “all our guests” to offer priority. Yes, your shop is small and every kids were with their own parents who came with so I am confused again when you say “certain number of hands on deck”. Honestly, rather than interacting author or other adults which what you were doing when I came to you to asked about the craft materials, perhaps you should focus on the event and kids in order to provide the basic hospitality that you promised. I remember you offered him toy blocks when he had a tantrum but he did not spread them out in the store like you described. At the end he only grabbed one car from that box and I put everything back in as soon as he took them out. Anyway, because you offered him toy blocks and let him play in the main store area does not change the fact and it does not mean you offered us some extra attention. For me it was more like you tried to do something to stop him crying to ensure the event runs smoothly.
Regarding your store prices, what I bought from your store I found them online and they were more than just couple of bucks cheaper. It is nice to have some pride to your own business but if you have too much of it, it makes you a naive and conceited business owner. Unfortunately, what you are selling are also available online at cheaper price even with adding shipping costs to it on some company website.
I shop lots of high-end kids products and they are definitely unique items but does not mean that they are not found any other stores but only yours.
Perhaps you should closely look into quality and price of the main offer that you are supposed to provide to customers first rather than thinking...

After a couple of days, I contacted UPS and they told me the package got lost in transit. I had to send at least 3 emails to the online store and chat with UPS agents a couple of times and speak with them on the phone. I contacted Bubble Belly and they told me all the items that I purchased were sold-out and they will issue a refund. I didn't do anything wrong, but I spent at least half an hour to select the items, waited for a few weeks, had to exchange emails with them, waited for hours to speak with UPS agents and lost about $3 because of the change in the exchange rate.
