
If I could give this rating 22 stars, I would! Best gym in Davis with the best trainers anywhere! At P22 all the awesome trainers really take the time to see what your needs are and work with you to exceed your potential while being mindful of, if any, injuries or limitations you may have. Classes are available Monday through Saturday, some days as early as 5:00am and evening classes as late as 7pm. When I started at P22 I could barely do a squat with a 15 lbs bar and barely half a push-up, and with consistency and with encouragement from all the trainers, I've lost over fifty pounds since I started, can do squats with a loaded bar no problem, and can even climb the rope all the way to the top. This progress initially took about two years, but even now, almost ten years later, I continue to improve every day, and even after hundreds of workouts it has never gotten boring and I don't think Josh ( the owner) has ever repeated a day's workout. Whatever fitness level you are at you will feel welcome and encouraged at P22! 1000% would recommend!

I’ve been training with Josh, and believe he is one of the most experienced and committed trainers around. I also do his cross fit group workouts 3 times a week and I really enjoy the variety & challenge he puts into the sessions & then took on a personal one-on-one session as well!
My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more core exercises, lift heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session.
Importantly:
– He ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries.
– He is very reliable & punctual and always ready to start training ahead of time, (same with his classes) with an exercise routine planned.
One other thing i like is the location and parking which there is always available parking reserved for p22.

He always brings the energy in fun group workouts especially great for athletes or those looking to tap into their own athletic potential. As an ex-athlete I can say that the classes at P22 bring me back to the athletic and competitive mindset from my playing days.
