I visited Windsor @ the Volusia mall for the first time on Saturday 07/11/2020. After working a long shift I was in a rush to find an outfit for my birthday dinner later on that evening. I had found several outfits! Went to the fitting room where I was told only 6 items were aloud in the room at a time. Which working in the health field I very much appreciated and understood however I had so many items and was pressed for time that I did not have a chance to try on everything, only the first 6 items. I was told but a staff member (whom was very helpful throughout my experience I unfortunately did not get her name) that since I was pressed for time I should just purchase all the clothing items and return whatever I end up not wearing for the evening. So I did just that spent close to $200.00 on several clothing items. Yesterday Wednesday 07/15/2020 around 4:15pm on my lunch hour I was able to run to the store to return the items that I did not wear for the special occasion on Saturday. I walked in to Windsor and was greeted by the cashier Casmira. I told her I had some items to return that I ended up not wearing Saturday night for my birthday dinner. She proceeded to ask me if I had the receipt and if the tags were still in tact. I told her yes as I handed her the bag i explained to her my great experience that I had shopping at the store for the first time. As she was inspecting all the items I was returning making 2 separate piles, she told me that she could only take a few of the items back and that one white skirt in particular looked "TO WORN" to be returned. I asked her what exactly she meant by that. She told me that even though it still had the tag on the elastic white skirt that it looked to worn. I was in a little bit of shock that she proceeded to tell me this with people in line behind me as I am in my healthcare uniform on my lunch hour. I proceeded to ask her people really return items that they have worn with the tags still on them, she replied it happens more often than you think. I told her well that is sort of a coincidence because I had originally chosen a blue satin skirt that I wanted to purchase however while checking out there was a black stain on the buttock portion. The woman that was helping me that Saturday took it and placed it on the counter behind her and tried to remove the stain but unfortunately could not so I did not purchase it. After explaining that to Casmira she replied with, well we do not put items like that back on the shelves. I left all of my belongings on the checkout counter walked over it the rack where the blue satin skirts were and picked out the exact blue satin skirt with the stain still on it, brought it up to Casmira to prove to her that it was still out on the shelf even with a stain. However she could still not accept my white elastic $23.00 skirt because of its to worn appearance. I asked her to speak with the manager because I was still so appalled that someone would accuse me of bringing back a worn item and refuse a refund. She responded to my manager request saying that she was the store manager. I then called cooperate where I had another great conversation with a representative named Lyvette, and she managed to fulfill my request in returning this skirt. At the end of this whole experience I am more humiliated than wanting the refund. The store associates who work here truly care about their customers and do everything to provide the best care possible, not to mention the merchandise is exceptional! The fit and style of the items really stands out from other stores, and I love that there are styles for any occasion!
I would also like to express special appreciation to Millie for going above and beyond to assist me, and for all of the help she provided to ensure I found just the right dress. I was torn between two dresses, and I’m so grateful for the advice Millie provided in helping me choose the perfect one! I also needed another dress and showed Millie one I had found but that didn’t seem to quite fit what I was looking for. Millie took time to look for a few different ones, then found one that matched my exact color preference and theme of the event! I’m so grateful for the extra effort she made to find this dress. This was such a tremendous help!!

Amber the store manager has gone out of her way on more than one occasion to help me locate a dress that I needed for an important event . Sales Associates do not push garments but listen to your needs . Sara has gone out of her way to bring me dress after dress while I am in the dressing room . She has even picked out several of my dresses that I would never have thought would look good on me . But her keen eye for style has shown me to trust the professionals . Ivana another associate has a pleasant nature , smile and no request is ever an issue She called me back the very next day on an item just as promised . Who does that ? I am greeted at the door with a warm welcome and selection is wonderful as well as affordable . Their sales are amazing . I encourage anyone looking for stylish garments to check out Windsor. They even have gowns and cocktail dresses which is what I come in for but I always have added jewelry, shoes and hand bags without breaking the bank.
