BAIT AND SWITCH My mom talked to the Mayfair store where a lady was very helpful. She explained different phones for my mom but the one they decided on was not in stock at that store. Delafield had it so the lady called them and asked to put it on hold for my mom. My mom called later in the day before she was going to go to that location to make sure everything was status quo and the guy at Delafield said they have it and it's $109 but that no one had called the store and they don't keep phones on hold. I told my mom that was a great price and she should get it but thought the price was odd since the Mayfair branch had it for $199 so I called the Delafield store before we made the trip as it's a bit of a drive for us. The guy I got speaking to said that the phone was not in stock and was $199....now I was very confused and he transferred me to someone in the phone department. I got talking to a girl who was very nice and helpful. She said they did have the phone in stock and that it was $109 so I said great we will be there in a bit. i was confused about the back and forth and if they had it in stock or not and the different prices but I figured we had the right information now. We get to the store and the guy we get talking to said oh yeah we have it in this cabinet. There was a note with the phone saying it was on hold so obviously the lady from Mayfair did call them. I'm sure you can already gather all the confusion we're experiencing since one person in the Delafield store gives a different price than another and one says it's in stock while another says it's not, etc....They had the phone so we were letting it go and were happy to just have it be done with.......well then they say it's $199. We said no, the guy before said it's $109 (the initial guy). They then explain that the price is for a different size GB phone which they didn't have in stock. We explain that no one ever explained that to us and we asked them before driving if they had the $109 one in stock which they did so this was bait and switch. The manager kept saying no, he (the initial guy we talked to) was just confused....I suppose I could see that but TWO people said the $109 one was in stock. The lowest they were going to discount it was $159 and Verizon sold the newer version for $169 so we left the store after a clear bait and switch/miscommunication/whatever you want to call it (we were told different information about different things at different times-they need to get it together).    Read moreAs others have said, the in-store staff has some pretty great people. In fact, some of the best in-store service I've gotten has come from their employees. If you're just coming to buy something in-store this is a good place to go as the people there will educate you and point you in the right direction.
However, also as others have said, everything else sucks. I ordered a computer over a week ago in-store cause they didn't have any of the caliber I was looking for, and they said it could arrive Wednesday but I was busy until Friday so they said they'd just hold it in the back. Called ahead to make sure it was there, and instead was directed to some call center in like Pakistan or Bulgaria or some other place nobody's heard of, and after repeating everything 3 times so they could understand me and me having them repeat everything so I could understand what they were saying, the only piece of information I could get was that it wasn't ready. Frustrated and wanting to talk to someone who actually knows what is going on, I just drove there and found out that it still hadn't come in and they didn't know when it would.
Honestly ridiculous for a store this size to not have a telephone in the whole store. Not to mention it's literally the place where they sell phones. Like take one of those phones and answer my call so I can actually talk to someone who knows something about my order and can answer my questions. And for goodness sake if you say something will be here Wednesday please make it ready for pickup by Friday.
Check their site to see if what you want from there is in stock. If it isn't just go somewhere else or buy it off amazon. BTW there's like nothing in stock there ever. Normally definitely a 1-star review for me but while some Best Buy employees don't want to be there, others clearly really do and are smart, capable, and helpful.

   Read moreI bought a 65" TV from this location and within 10 days the TV stopped working and would no longer turn on. I call the 800 number and they tell me to return it to the store. I go to return the TV to this location. Upon entering I tell the the group of employees that is standing at the front that I am returning the TV. One of them mentions that they don't take TV returns but they get another employee to help me take the TV out of the car. After getting the TV out of the van they put it on a cart. Another employee comes over to process the return. I am not sure if this was the employees first day but he cannot find an outlet to plug the TV into. I tell him the TV does not turn on anymore and he is frustrated that I didn't tell him that sooner. He eventually finds an outlet and confirms that it in fact does not turn on. I tell him I am trying to get it replaced as quickly as possible. He tells me I can have it sent to me on 12/23 or we can pick it up on 12/31. It was an easy decision to get it sent. I say lets do the 12/23 date and he proceeds to tell me that it will cost $105 to ship it to me. I tell him I am not paying shipping on a replacement TV. I mention the sign that is in the corner that says free shipping over $35. He says that delivery is different than shipping and if I wanted the TV on 12/23 I would have to pay that amount. I am not willing to pay the shipping cost, so I tell him just do the 12/31 pick up date. Then I call the customer service line and explain the issue. He says that is pretty ridiculous considering Best Buy sold a TV that stopped working and wouldn't cover the cost of shipping. He proceeds to change my order and get it shipped for free on the 12/23 date.
Moral of the story. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION. They have 0 customer service ability.
