CHAOS COMICS @ Lansing Mall and CHAOS EVENTS — Local services in Delta Charter Township

The man behind the counter is disrespectful and rude, can’t recommend this poor business to anyone. He shot me with a nerf gun then laughed about it and said his “finger slipped” when he was purposely aiming it at me. He then proceeded to kick me out of the store for scrolling through a console that’s on display because I was genuinely interested in which games it had to offer. He told me if I wanted to see what games it had I should buy it, he apparently doesn’t know how business works. Definitely not going back there again and the next time I go to the mall I’m hoping the store is gone. It ruins the happy atmosphere of a great mall that’s been around for a long time, it doesn’t fit in at all.

Edit: It did happen, check your cameras and see him shoot me with the nerf gun or whatever kind of gun it was. It was unacceptable and unprofessional. Asking me to leave is no big deal, if you have a policy that states no touching anything on display even to see how it works then that’s fine. But shooting someone who is a customer with any kind of gun is not acceptable. And no one was trying to steal anything I did pick up a charm or whatever you would like to call it because I wanted to look at it, I then placed it down immediately and went on with looking at the different items. Over the past few years, we have enjoyed shopping at Chaos Comics and have EASILY spend hundreds of dollars on Funko’s because of their great prices and selection. Today was the first time we have ever tried to SELL some of our Funko collection. We didn’t have anything with an outrageous collector value, but a few nice sets and various characters to offer. The older gentleman helping us was fair in his offer. After we came to an agreement, we were making lighthearted conversation and mentioned we had previously sold to the other Comic store in the mall. He replied “you know what, I’ll actually pass” on the entire offer since we did business with his competitor (which is not our responsibility to know as customers.) I stopped by Chaos Comics in the Lansing Mall a few days ago. I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing the experience was. Decently-sized, the store has a large collection of comics, funko pops, trading cards, and action figures. They had a much larger selection of collectibles than I anticipated, and if it weren’t for time constraints, I would have spent more time there. The owner was extremely pleasant to talk with, and he had no issue showing and explaining items in his store.
