I happened to visit this location because it was close to the store that I was going to go to buy shots for my puppy. I thought being that Denton was a college town that this store would have a lot of business and therefore be on top of their game. I have never ever witnessed a restaurant as filthy as this location. The counters were they were prepping our food were just covered in old nasty spilled everything juices guacamole sour cream cheese meat you name it the counter by the cash register was covered in smears and co-ops. I ordered a double meat Bowl asked for steak and Carnitas then I realized the carnita bin was empty. I said you need more Carnitas she said oh yeah we're out... it's going to be a while and then she said what else did you want so I said I guess I'll just do steak. While I'm standing there the cook right behind her says Carnitas up and so I said to the cook but I thought Carnitas were going to be a while I thought you didn't have any and then food line meat girl said no ma'am it's an easy fix but continued helping the other people behind me while we're just standing there waiting for our order to be finished and then she said you want me to make you a new bowl or do you just want me to put Carnitas on top. I said whatever is easiest I just came here for the carnitas. So then again our food just sits were waiting for somebody to do the cheese sour cream and guacamole part of the service no one's coming...ridiculous amount of time we just stood there waiting for someone, anyone to finish our order... meanwhile our food is just sitting there on that same filthy nasty counter. Finally someone comes and finishes our food. We go sit down and I go up to get silverware and there's no spoons it's hard to eat a bowl without a spoon so I go up to the counter and ask for a spoon and the register girl says oh...no. Oh no whats? Oh we don't have them and I said what do you mean you don't have them? Oh we're going to get a truck in I think on Tuesday but you'll have to just use a fork. And I said while I'm standing here might I please get a cup of the hot sauce. I didn't think that was a big question to ask but 3 or 4 minutes goes by and we're still standing there waiting for the little cup of hot sauce. While I'm standing there I told the cashier this has to be the filthiest restaurant I've ever seen in my life. She said yeah I've been really busy, I don't have time to clean it. I said well cleaning it's not an optional thing, that should be the first thing you address as no one wants to come in and eat in a filthy restaurant. She said we're understaffed too and I said yeah well I see you standing here for four minutes waiting for them to hand you a cup of hot sauce during that 4 minutes you could have wiped said countertop down so that it didn't look so disgusting...to which she shrugged her shoulders. And then I just shook my head and walked away! It's just nasty... don't eat there. I get to the table and the steak that was first put on my bowl... I'm spitting pieces out because it's literally just Square chunks of Gristle I ended up spitting 16 pieces out I don't know if I ingested anything of the steak. I had a huge pile of crumpled napkins as each one had a piece of spit out steak in it. That's just nasty absolutely nasty. Chipotle needs to get on their ball. Since Chipotles are corporate owned and not franchises this is Corporate dropping the ball...if you're going to put a Chipotle in every 5 Square Mile radius then you need to have somebody who's corporate managing all of these to make sure that this isn't nasty. Shame...
Read moreWe were thier around 2 pm on 4/6/15. The floors & tables were dirty. The food was great. Then went to the bathroom and it was dirty also. 15 after leaving the bathroom I told the cashier need to speak to a Manager. She went to tell one manager. I found out her name was Kenia. She did not even acknowledge me. Ms. Kenia just kept talking to the employee's that were siting a a table. Did not even attempt to come see me. After waiting a few more minutes the cashier went and found another manager her name was Sara. Now she was more customer friendly then Ms Kenia. Ms Sara told me that they were short on help, & had one employee who was stuck down in Mexico. Ms Sara said they have not even given breaks out yet. I told Ms Sara that was my first time being their in this store and will not come back. Ms Sara said that the other manager I thinks she is off. I told Ms Sara I have worked in food service for 25 years plus. An as long as a manager is still in the building on or off the clock they need to take care of the customer when they make an complaint. An not ignore the customer. I even point out to Ms Sara that she had 4 employees on the line working that she could have pulled one off the line to help clean the dining room tables at least. Where the 4 employees were working the floor behind the line was very dirty. The manager Ms Kenia needs to work on her customer service skills. While Miss Sarah went back to get me coupons for coming to come back to the store the other manager never even once looked at me knowledge in that I was there to make complaints she just give me the dirtiest look and kept going back to talk to her employees sitting at a table it was I guess the new employees. The staff was good there the food was good there is just the building was very dirty at all places I would eat I would never go back there again because if the floors are dirty out front the tables are dirty out front behind the line is dirty but you wonder how to clean the kitchen is after seeing all the powder us...
Read moreI am a huge fan of chipotle but one thing I will never understand is the online orders. I have no problem with the idea of online orders, but when you look at chipotle and compare the efficiency of online and in person orders to other fast food chains you will see chipotle is lacking. I went to this location and I had already told the lady what I wanted she started to make it. Then another employee says here is in online order. So my order is put on hold. I had a bowl of rice and a quesadilla. The online order was meant for a party of 3-4 because it was a bigger order. While my order is being put on hold there is another employee just watching. (She is not new because I’ve seen her before. I eat here often) I am annoyed because the online order has put my order to the side in the middle of making it, and employees are just standing. Now the employee finally goes back to making my order. My quesadilla is on the warmer thing, when they start the order behind mine and take my quesadilla out to put the other customers food in. As I stand at the register waiting for my food I realized my quesadilla is sitting there, and it appears it was forgotten about/less of a priority because after the customer behind me gets hers out then mine is put back in. At this moment I am beyond frustrated because there is a lack of efficiency and hustle. By now the person behind me has actually checked out and left. After that my order was finished and I got my food. I just think the online orders could be done differently, and all employees should be involved doing something when there is something. Also every single time I go to a chipotle they are out of hand sanitizer, and I understand we are in a pandemic but every other store/restaurant has plenty readily available. **Put it this way- If all mobile orders come before in person orders, and I’m sitting there waiting for my order but one online order after the next keep coming in I would never...
