I really enjoy my weekly time with Martina in the Center Strength Wash Park pilates studio. When I came in a couple years ago, I was fairly athletic but very tight and prone to injury. She has helped me dramatically increase my core muscles, understand them better, walk and sit in an improved structural way, and even helped me learn how to breathe better. After trying several studios, I decided on Center Strength and have been attending classes for several years. Both studios are absolutely beautiful and have excellent Balanced Body equipment, all in fantastic condition. Each of the instructors so far have been professional, friendly, and encouraging. I've attended other classes where there is way too much personal information shared or on the opposite end of the spectrum, are cold and impersonal (ego alert!) Not here. I tried Pilates to fix excruciating back pain - and it has given me back my life, health and happiness. I found Center Strength on recommendation from my Physical Therapist - and it is by far and away the best studio I've been to. Every instructor is well educated, personable and professional, they guide you through new movements and help you stay focused and accountable. Equipment and studio space are gorgeous, lots of space for ventilation, and good health practices - I feel completely safe here! Can't recommend...
