I would love to give this place a higher review because the food was delicious and the ambiance is really nice. We had table of 8 seated out side. Greta music and outdoor space . service started out very good. We ordered four pizzas and handful of appetizers. All of us ordered drinks . Do not order the costa verde .absolutely horrible drink. I am not sure what if was expecting but it wasn’t that . Disgusting beyond belief . Myself and another person at the table couldn’t put it down. We asked the waitress if we could order another drink and she let us know that their policy is to not switch drinks out if patrons don’t like their flavor . In all my life I have never had a restaurant say that is their policy. In what world does a restaurant force a customer to enjoy and pay for a drink that they don’t enjoy and won’t consume . Keep in mind the glasses are totally full. If I drank half of it I’d understand , but like what kind of bad customer service is this. I was like I understand your policy , just let the bartender know it’s absolutely horrible and we can’t drink it . If he wants to make us something else that is comped it would be appreciated if I have to pay for drink I don’t enjoy. Another waiter came with my new delicious drink . Spiced pear . . That drink was delicious . I asked the waiter that brought new drink if he was the bartender . Which he replied no. Okay no big deal .then the manager came and said if I don’t cool it with the staff we would be kicked out . What in the world . Talk About overreacting and honestly as I write this review I am loss for words . Over sensitive , no manager with no communication skills? She didn’t even ask me about the drink. Keep in my I was very courteous with staff , No raised voice , no curse words , no aggression at all , so what in the world is their problem with a customer telling the waitress the drink is un -consumable . If that makes your waitress that uncomfortable, then maybe she should do another profession. Message to the owner. Train your staff and managers better. Great food , service and manager were horrible experience. I will never come...

We have been to multiple locations of Homegrown for years, the food is consistently wonderful. Tonight we had the most AMAZING waiter at the Wash Park location named Cody. The restaurant was packed and he had a full section all night but we felt like the only people in the place. I had the most embarrassing thing happened to me for the first time in my life; when I scooted out of the booth to use the restroom I hit the pizza bar that was hanging off the table with my knee and a couple of the glasses flew off the table and broke on the ground! The entire restaurant stopped and looked at me but Cody was immediately there as I was mortified and apologizing for being so clumsy and he made me feel instantly better and totally defused and deflected the situation off of me. Yes it was an honest accident but he didn’t have to do that and I was really thankful for the fact that he went out of his way to ensure that the attention was taken off of me and the restaurant just went back to their conversations like nothing happened. Additionally, he was so observant about my food allergies ensuring that I was informed and my food was made perfectly which almost never happens. He checked in on us the perfect amount of time throughout the evening and our glasses were never empty (except for the ones I threw on the ground haha, Urgh.) Cody was simply great at his job! We really lack basic hospitality and customer service almost everywhere nowadays, but from being greeted by the host when we walked in, to being seated, having a manager check in twice, and Cody’s graciousness, this place has mastered human kindness. I can’t thank...

Listen up, pizza lovers and carb enthusiasts! If you haven't yet visited Homegrown, you might want to reevaluate your life choices. Pizza isn't just my favorite food; it's my favorite food group. Seriously, the food pyramid is just a slice of pepperoni to me.

First off, the atmosphere is as warm and inviting as a fresh slice straight out of the oven. The aroma hits you like a mozzarella-infused dream, wrapping you in a cheesy embrace that whispers, "Welcome home."

Now, let’s talk about our server Mike, who was an absolute legend. Imagine if the most compassionate human on Earth collided with a superhero whose only power was delivering pizza perfection and treating canines like royalty. Yep, that’s our server. They catered to our every need with the grace of a pizza dough spinning in mid-air. And their compassion towards my dog? It was like witnessing a Hallmark movie but with more cheese and less predictable plot twists.

And the pizza? Oh, the pizza. It was so good, it made my taste buds dance the Macarena. Each slice was a harmonious symphony of crispy crust, tangy sauce, and enough cheese to keep a dairy farm in business. It’s like each bite was crafted by the pizza gods themselves. If pizza had a fan club, I’d be the president, secretary, and treasurer all at once.

Homegrown, you’ve set the bar higher than a pizza tossed by an Olympic athlete. Thanks for being a staple to the washpark community. I’ll be back, and so will my furry friend, for another round of pizza magic and canine compassion.

Five stars? Nah, this place deserves five...

I live out of state, but come back home to Denver often. This has been one of my favorite places to grab a great salad or a meal. My sister ordered salads tonight through DoorDash. I had the beet salad which I normally love. Unfortunately, I saw something that was a different color than the lettuce in my salad. It was more of a blue/green and when I pulled it out, it was a sharp piece of what appears to be a wire wrap from something in the kitchen? I’m thankful that it didn’t go down my throat because that wouldn’t have been good at all. I was cautious about finishing it and pretty much lost my appetite. I was concerned about finding more, which I didn’t, but one piece of sharp wire in your salad is enough. Very disappointing and definitely has changed my view about this restaurant. For the time being unlikely to order again. I don’t know if this was because of the vendor that you order your greens from or a careless kitchen worker. Either way it shouldn’t have happened.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cozy Atmosphere & Amazing Food! We had such a fantastic dinner at Homegrown Tap & Dough! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm, cozy decor—it has such a great vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy the night. It does get pretty busy, so I’d definitely recommend calling ahead or making a reservation if possible. Now, onto the food—absolutely incredible! We tried the “Pete-za,” and wow, it was a game-changer. The flavors were spot on! The burgers were juicy and cooked to perfection, and the wine selection paired perfectly with everything. On top of all that, our waiter was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better. We’ll definitely be back for another amazing meal. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere!
