I don’t know but I didn’t have a pleasant experience in Hermes today I’ve bought two belts from them and was possibly interested in buying more things in hopes one day be offered a Kelly, well today I decided since I already got two belts and i really liked there shoes but they are to tight on my feet I would take a look at blankets in hope if I keep coming in I could also convince my bf to purchase one as well because I’ve also been trying to convince him to buy more stuff so I could also up my purchase history ay Hermes so the brand can see that I value them and there brand . But the employee today that was talking to me and my bf about the blankets was extremely nice at first told us everything we should know what makes them expensive. and then became really unprofessional when me and my bf told him we had someone we buy from from the store there who’s always been extremely nice and friendly but she wasn’t there today And as soon as we said that he’s okay well it’s best to buy from then then when my bf asked about some other priced things. He said most of this stuff is purely out of our price rage the only reason I could think that was because me and my bf we are really young or he’s mad we already have someone we buy from . Then he guy asked if he could show me something pulls out another persons bag that he’s gonna be giving to one of his clients and he kinda made it seem like he was gonna let me try it on but then he walks right pass me to the mirror side eying me and taking pictures with it on to send to his client. It’s my fault I should have known but I’m so new to Hermes and my bf has a good purchase history with the Rolex store right down the mall and they always let me and him try on the watches. So I just thought it was the same thing for bags. So that experience was just really bad and...
Read moreHad a pretty ridiculous experience at this Hermes store today. Firstly, I want to be clear that I don’t necessarily blame the store staff for this issue, and also want to say that they were all polite and welcoming. I cannot blame them for their corporate policies. Upon entering the store I was warmly greeted and then went to look at their children’s section. In this area they have a few brown leather chairs. Since I’ve been walking around the mall for an hour, I decided to sit on the chair while I was looking at a product. Immediately, a store associate approached me and said that I was not allowed to use these chairs and that they are not for sitting. I left the store pretty much immediately. Luckily it was pretty empty but I was nevertheless embarrassed. I know these high fashion brands tend to be more pretentious but I felt it was absolutely ridiculous to have perfectly normal leather seats in the middle of the store that is completely off limits to customers, with absolutely no signage that says “display only” or please don’t sit”. It just goes beyond the “museum of luxury“ environment they project at Hermes. It doesn’t get more pompous than to have a row of comfy and welcoming chairs in the middle of a store that you are not allowed to even sit in. To be clear, these chairs were totally basic, normal leather chairs that had absolutely nothing about them that would indicate they are for display only. Nothing special about them at all. I felt terribly embarrassed to have been asked to get off the furniture, and left without purchasing anything. As I get older and wiser, stores like these just seem to be more and more ridiculous as the years go by, and I get more and more embarrassed by how much money I’ve...
Read moreTo get to the point, Instead of hating the brand, hate this boutique and since these people work on commission and earn about $1000 biweekly, these people do not deserve that commission and if i were you just order it from the online store (unless youre trying to get a birkin) and actually get the service you deserve.
So I am very confused with this store because I have never been told no, especially when I am trying to buy something... I'm not a million dollar spender at Hermes but I do have a handful of pieces that I truly adore... This rating isnt for the brand itself because you will never get this kind of service at their flagship store in Paris (Yes, I've bought some of my pieces there), its for the tacky group of people that run the store and it is just pathetic. I came to the mall at 5:30 pm because like any other person, I have a job and a very good one that allows me to afford Hermes.... But they have security now and apparently I cannot come in anymore because they close at 6.... I was in shock because its 5:30??!!!! Its nothing against the security guard because he's just doing his job but the people that manage the store is the issue.
My agenda of going there: I was dropping by to pick up a pair of shoes for a special day, but this situation tops everything that I have experienced with snobby shop-girls... Only here was I ever told no even if I just wanted to buy a pair of $800...
