The people who work here are often pretty cool, so why did I give it 1 star?

Because they are scammers. They have a "buy 1 get 2 free" deal on wine, which sounds great, right?

Well, the wine they're selling goes for an msrp of around $7-$8 a bottle. I opted for the buy 1 get 2 free deal and didn't realize until I looked at my receipt that they charged me $30 for ONE bottle of wine. I understand up-charging like $1 or something more than msrp of you're doing a deal like that, but doing a %325 markup is insane.

Another thing to notice is that they don't have prices on their liquor for a reason... They will fit a crazy charge like this on your bill if you're ever getting a decent amount of items because you're less likely to notice.

It's a bummer, because this was a really good neighborhood Bodega, but unfortunately, they have been pretty sketchy lately.

Major league scam. Price gouging on aisle 3. Holy moly my mind was blown by the insane prices. Arguably the most expensive liquor store I've ever been in besides Times Square. My main question is who shops here? The prices were practically higher than Mt. Everest I barely survived the climb, obviously these people are trying to make people more miserable than they're horrible selection of spirits as well. Nobody should give this place a single cent.
