Short review related to picture: my go-to hamburger and curly fries spot, even when I can cook a great burger at home. Reasonable wait time if you're very hungry (never been longer than 20 minutes for my one takeout order.) If you want to try a new burger place and are hesitant to trying Nepalese/Indian businesses that serve pizza and hamburgers, try this one! -Iranian guy from Southern California
Long form review: I was going to write a review already but am now writing it also in reply to the most recent, harsher review before me. This is the down-to-earth kind of place that would explain things and help you with your order if you actually /talked/ to them, before or after your made the order. Most bad reviewers of restaurants are too shy or mad to communicate with the staff, and hold food service to a bunch of unspoken agreements which they imagined on their own.
I don't know anything about "buying reviews" but I do know how I would feel if I recieved that comment myself. That's so mean, dude. Some vocal attendees of a business are just more positively spoken than other businesses. Gaia Masala on Grant doesn't have a fanbase of haters.
I come here for the burgers since most places that serve Indian dishes are too rich for me. I was drawn to Gaia Masala because it's the only place that told me it's grass-fed meat, and the prices are very reasonable for how amazing the burgers are. I've since come for a regular order of the All American Burger with Curly Fries, no mayonaisse, no side sauces. It fits my tight budget perfectly and the burger itself is constructed so solidly, so perfectly, that I read some of these reviews and wonder if they're writing about a different location. If I ever sit at the place, I sit outside for fresh air and sunlight. I'm not a fan of TVs playing random things, or western pop music I'm not always into. Haven't tried the bar yet! They do host live music sometimes but I don't have the details myself.
..And the baklava is not bad at all! Not too oily, not too sweet, just right and perfect to take home for...

Read moreDangit, I forgot to take photos! Because frankly, despite not being all that hungry... The visual appeal and aroma when the food arrived was enough to completely make me forget that I was in some little Denver restaurant. Went with a friend on their recommendation (they talked about it forever, so my expectations were high) and we shared a lamb and beef gyro, the chicken tikka masala Philly and a hummus plate with naan. We sat at the bar, despite the fact that both of us quit drinking... It was just busy and the bar looked perfect.
As I said, the food was pleasing to my visual cortex as well as my olfactory before I even got a bite. The gyro meat was ridiculously delicious and I devoured it instantly. It had pickles and what seemed like grilled green onion hearts? Their special sauce and tzatziki were perfect. Then, even though I was "full" I laid waste to the Philly because I simply couldn't stop eating it.
The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, with a look in their eye that said "wait until you try this!"
10/10 will be back anytime I am in the arena and have...
