went to the food bank for the first time today at the encouragement of my neighbor and wow… it felt like Christmas. Wonderful people! I struggle with feeling like I’m not deserving of help when so many other people have it worse, but I need to stop putting all of my groceries on my Nearly maxed out credit card. Such A welcome relief … I no longer feel guilty for eating my groceries. It’s nice to see people who are real Christians, (that Exemplify the teachings of Christ) out here doing good work for people instead of being hateful and close minded, as was my experience with many churches in the Bible belt growing up.

Enjoyed sitting by this beautiful church and making a quick sketch. Love the rainbow flag! My sketch is on the left and my 13 year olds on the right. Can you tell who the artist is?? We are not from the area but would definitely visit this beautiful and welcoming church. Blessings!

You'll find if you go to this church that Pastor Brown and his congregation are some of the most God fearing and God pleasing people you'll ever met.

Was in town for another purpose but happened upon the church after the service ended. The service times are 10-11am. I didn't arrive until noon; however, the doors were still open so I went in just to take a look. While I was admiring the gorgeous architecture including beautiful stained glass windows I met a man named Roger. He was very friendly, accomodating and gracious. He was especially gracious as he tolerated my innumerable questions. The next time I'm in town on a Sunday I will not hesitate to...

I'm a regular for the food bank and I can HONESTLY say, that they are ABSOLUTELY a GREAT GROUP of TRULY CARING individuals. I did go for an Easter Sunday service a couple years ago, but quite honestly, probably won't return for a church service. I appreciate them and respect them for being an open and accepting church of ALL walks of life, but the sermon and overall feeling seemed kinda' fake, forced, and a bit too acted...
