RUN. Originally, I gave this shop I five star review. It is beautiful inside, Nancy was fantastic. They are on time. Stunning Dresses. That is where the nightmare starts. I am an out of town bride, flying in for fittings etc. I purchased an Enaura bridal gown which was amazing, but because of the designs on the bottom I was told the measurements should be custom and I would need to pay to purchase the dress custom. Not a problem, I told the person measuring me I was planning on 2-3 inch heels. When the dress arrived in Denver I flew in, tried on the dress at LWD before taking it to alterations, all looked good but I didn't bring heels and I was on a pedestal. I showed up at alterations with my 2 inch heels, my feet were FULLY showing. I was crying. Alterations agreed that I should call the shop and try to order a new dress. I called the shop and the front desk/ bridal consultant said they could order additional fabric to add to the bottom, problem solved. I arrived at my second fitting only to realize it was not clarified that the additional length to the dress could only be added to the lace on the outside not the underneath slip. The dress was still too short, so I had to switch to flats. Even in flats the dress is still too short. I was crying at my second fitting so I asked to speak to the manager at LWD. THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD SEE THE RED FLAGS: the manager called me and said "your toes should be showing in a wedding dress". I told her I was not happy with my feet fully exposed and the additional length was still not good enough, alterations told me to call her in regards to how badly it looked. She then informed me that alterations told her I was "ecstatic" with my dress and that I was giving her a different story. She was accusing me of lying to discredit that my dress was too short. I literally emailed the bridal shop photos of myself crying at the alterations appts that my mom took to try to get documentation of how horrible the dress looked. I did not have time to order another dress so I will be wearing the dress with flats at my wedding. The sad part is I tried on the dress at my trip to Kleinfelds after I bought it at LWD, I should have purchased it at Kleinfelds instead. Enaura creates unbelievably beautiful dresses I hope that they choose a more reliable shop with better customer service from their manager and more detail oriented measurements to sell their dresses. The did refund me for the "custom" part of my dress which was $950. The 5k for the dress and veil (a dress that is too short) was still my responsibility. PURCHASING MY WEDDING DRESS FROM HERE WAS THE MOST STRESSFUL PART OF MY ENTIRE WEDDING PLEASE IF YOU'RE GOING TO ORDER A DRESS THIS NICE GO TO SOMEWHERE LIKE KLEINFELDS OR ANYWHERE ELSE INSTEAD. Photo attached is taken from above the dress. If I can save a bride this stress by posting this it is 100% worth it. I understand I'm not going to get...
Read moreMan what an incredible experience I had at LWD. Let me start from the top, I had the most amazing stylist, Kendra, who reached out to me over a month before the appointment to get to know me, my dress preferences, concerns etc. Come appointment day, she made me feel amazing. I was a bit nervous because I had heard LWD was for women with higher budgets, but she had a large selection for me to look at even though my budget was only $2,000. After trying on a few dresses that I liked, but didnât love, she asked if I would be comfortable trying on a dress that was way out of left field of what I originally wanted. I said yes because sheâs the expert and I thought at least this way I can rule out what I donât like. WELL what do you know, I tried on the Anne Barge Naomi dress, something that was the opposite of what I envisioned myself in, walked out of the dressing room and found myself in absolute tears. My mom and mother in law were crying too! I had a lot of anxiety going into the appointment, with a fear that I wouldnât like any dresses on me and feel really defeated. This dress allowed me to see myself the way my fiancĂ© sees me, and thatâs thanks to Kendra. She knew what would look good on me, reassured me she knew what she was doing but didnât pressure me. I had a few other appointments the next day so I decided to wait on making any decisions, but knowing what I liked on me and realizing it was completely different from what I thought, I was able to change the style that I wanted to try on for the other appointments. I ended up falling in love with a dress at a different shop (extremely similar) and was torn between the two. Kendra made time for me to come back 2 days later to try on the Naomi dress again. I still wasnât 100% sure because I loved the dresses equally. Ultimately I ended up choosing the other dress because it fit my venue better, but like I told Kendra, had they carried that dress, I wouldâve 100% come and bought it from her LWD instead because she was AMAZING and I canât say enough positive things about her and my experience there. I absolutely will be going back to hopefully buy my veil or accessories there, just because of how wonderful they are. If you are unsure of where to go for bridal shopping, I urge you to go to LWD because it genuinely made my wedding dress shopping experience from something nerve wracking, into enjoyable and memorable....
Read moreTL;DR - I had a great experience and ended up purchasing my wedding dress at Little White Dress Bridal.
For starters, the showroom is GORGEOUS. Huge windows to let in all the light, and a creative layout with lots of fitting rooms and podiums so you feel like you have your own space during your appointment, complete with plush couches for your guests. They offer champagne to your group as you shop too. I will agree with another reviewer who mentioned the curtains to the fitting rooms open in the middle, which wasn't the most private - luckily I was with my mom, sister and BFF so it wasn't a big deal but I can see it bothering those who are more modest or with extended family.
Megan helped me during my first appointment; she was in tune with what I was looking for and pulled a variety of great dresses. When nothing was "quite right" she got creative and paired the top from one dress and the bottom from another by the same designer. The end result was perfect! I got "the feeling" but had to go to a few other appointments I had already scheduled elsewhere to be sure. One thing I didn't love was that you have to put a deposit down to be measured for a dress, which wasn't the case at other shops I had visited. I did ask another shop about this and they said it's because sometimes brides get measured and then contact the designer directly to have their dress made, so I can understand why this is a policy at LWD in order to protect themselves. It just made things trickier for me since I was visiting from out of town and had limited time in Denver and didn't want to rush the decision.
That said, I ended up returning to try it on the next day, this time helped by Anna as Megan had another appointment, but she did stop by and check in a few times. Both were so professional, kind and helpful without being pushy. They answered my every last question and gave great advice throughout the process. They helped me customize the dress by adding more of a train to the skirt and I am so excited to see the completed piece when I return for my first fitting in June.
The checkout process was super smooth and transparent; Megan and Anna went over everything in detail and really made me feel at ease every step of the way since this is quite a big purchase. They even sent me off with a bottle of wine to say congrats! Can't recommend...
