Steadbrook — Local services in Denver

Very cool spot with a great brand selection. Visited on my way through town over the thanksgiving holiday and the employees were cool and the vibe of the retail space was nice. This place actually got recommended to me by the guys at BAIT. I didn't buy anything in-store because it was 2 days before black friday, but i had a good time browsing and chatting with the dude about this and that. Anyway, i'd been wanting to try Carhartt WIP aviation pants for a bit so once cyber monday rolled around i thought to myself, "I should support my new buds at Steadbrook, instead of any of the other online retailers that stock Carhartt WIP" so i went to their site, saw their 30% off sale and placed an order. The order arrived super fast. The problem was when I got the pants, put em on, realized they weren't for me, and emailed Steadbrook about a refund. I emailed them on December 16th and haven't gotten a response. I've also called the store twice, with no answer. Sus. This bums me out, cause I just wanted to return the pants, no big deal, but now i'm typing this review because i see it as my only option to get a response. This place has all the components of being a cool spot that i wanna pop back into, except one, Customer Service. so i guess i'll advise people to try things on IN-STORE, if i had done that i wouldn't be typing this (cause i wouldn't have bought the pants). But weirdly, THERE SEEMS TO BE NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT AFTER THE SALE, and if you live out of town and cannot physically return the pants, then you may be SOL, cause thats how i feel right now. Would they have emailed me back if i'd asked to exchange instead? I dont know, but hopefully they see my email soon.

This is a top tier store selling top tier goods with a top tier staff.

Super impressed with this place. Huge selection of incredibly high quality goods. Quality is clearly very important to them and that’s something that’s getting harder and harder to find.

But I think the most impressive thing about Steadbrook is their staff. Everyone in there was very knowledgeable and helpful without being too in your face and I think that’s something a lot of stores miss the mark on. You can tell that this is more than just a job to these guys. It’s something that they care about and enjoy, and it really shows in the level of service they provide.

My only complaint is that there isn’t a Steadbrook closer to me in...

Favorite shop in Denver. Discovered it in Baker a few years ago, and was refreshed to find their discerning curation and quality of brands. Now I’m impressed with their continual evolution as a shop. Since moving to Rino they’ve picked some of my favorite peeps like Our Legacy and Rick Owens, brought in new and original dope like Braindead, and now they’re mixing things up with fresh houseware and women’s clothing.
